1) We don't use cryptsy's auto-sell feature
2) We don't dump at the first/current bid price
3) We give you the exact feature of disabling conversion to BTC to sell the coins yourself. It is one of the main features setting this pool apart from any others.

[/quote]

Ok Thanks for clarifying this.

Then it is the other miners who are soloing/on other pools, dumping the coins, causing it to sell cheaply.

after about 10hr mining my estimates say 0.007 and i have almost 2mhs...weird no?

What is your rejection rate? HW error rate?

Keep in mind that the server doesn't accept invalid shares, so what it is accepting will only be a subset produced by your overall hash.

nah everything is good on my side. i got about 0.2 payout in 24hr over at middlecoin. ill give it a go for at least 48hrs

mining is shit now anyways Smiley

How the hell did you get 0.2 BTC in 24 hrs with 2mh?  With 5.5mh it's a struggle to get to 0.1.

I don't believe that figure for a second.  He must be missing a 0 or couple.

lol haha sorry guys there is a zero missing Smiley

ya i'm doing 1.4mhash and advraging 0.016-0.020 per day

Today, I am getting about ~0.011/mh/sec

For 3.3mh/sec I got 0.037 BTC... lowest all week.
we need to start buying up the higher valued coins...

I am looking at coins that are not on Cryptsy (ASC, OSC) and they are staying strong and people are making money buying and trading them the old fashion way.  Check out COINEX.PW and you will see how they are selling and buying coins well there.

What is your A-R ratio.  I have 2.3MH/s and received .032166 tonight.

A/R Ratio is about 13% in CGMiner but I transmit stale shares instead of dropping them.

Just noticed that due to Vardiff issues, I found some rejects "Share is above target"
If your Diff changes dynamically, Hashco.ws must still accept the previous diff shares and not reject them.

This is a bug and needs fixing.  Now I see why we are losing/getting rejects.  All due to Vardiff rejecting when a vardiff increases.

So, for example, I was on vardiff 165, and hit 2 blocks as 224/165 and 232/165 but the vardiff changed to 265 at the time I transmitted my shares.  Hashco.ws rejected my previously 165 diff shares.

Please add feature in Vardiff:
- if share diff changes, allow 2-5 seconds from previous vardiff level to be accepted.
- temp store previous vardiff level to be able to accept the shares.

now if I look at it, I am noticing these errors every few blocks we find.

hi guys, my miners were hung this morning - using BFGminer on Win7 - closed it down and reloaded and works fine now - lost over 6 hours mining Sad was it a server issue (stopped @ 1.30am) or just a bug my end? any suggestions on how to prevent this in future?

This account was hacked & possibly sold during the period of August 1st and October 24th 2017.
Anything done or said in this period wasnt me.
Many thanks to Cyrus for his help restoring access to my account.

i have my system set to restart 4 times a day (once every 6 hours) cause i'd rather be down for 4 min a day rather than hours/days if i don't notice my miners freeze

You may need to switch to CGMiner, i don't think it supports BFGminer.

not likely Tongue cgminer was a right PITA (unless the new version has dropped needing 3rd party usb drivers...) (USB block erupters)

TX Fees > It should be relative?

MinCoin at 0.1 is a great deal more than WDC at 0.1

We are working on a few different options miners can set for difficulty...

1) a static diff per worker, it never changes, vardiff never touches you.
2) A minimum diff, you start at this, but vardiff may increase you if it sees fit, but you'd never go lower.
3) Regular vardiff (though still utilizing the caching from previous round).

and we appreciate all the help you guys provide to each other within the thread, the Hashcow community has been great!

Hello Hash Cows!

I have been trying this pool out, but I always get unnerved by the estimated btc per day.

Here I am today after 2 hours on the pool, hashing along at 2.9 Mh/s at 18i with 8-10% rejects according to both the site and cgminer. However my estimated btc per day is only 0.01921535 ?!?!

I made more than that in 10 hours this morning mining wdc.

Surely something is amiss here! This pool looks so good on paper... many of the coins being mined have a higher profitability than wdc! It is a real test of willpower to stay on the pool while staring down that estimated btc/day figure though. Is it just wrong? Can someone help me out here?

You have only been on the pool for 2 hours, so your estimated btc earnings is only based on what has been mined so far.  At this moment, my estimate is .0389, mining since the payment last night.  Your earning estimate starts over after payment each night.

Well, since we are mining scrypt, the problem with cgminer and block explorer doesn't matter.

I run cgminer for my gpu mining and bfgminer for my sha-256 mining.  I am running both programs on three workstations, 2x Win8Pro and 1x Win7Pro.

The cgminer has stalled/hung up on me a few times but only after 4 or 5 days of mining.  I now restart it manually every three days.
