Whoa, that last 26 minute round of TAG netted me 0.031 BTC (I only have about 1 MH/s). Awesome!

Is there anything wrong with TAG? The profitability is too high at 919!!!

The latest TAG round had a more sensible profit, but it was still high. I'm thinking it may be too good to be true

The TAG issue was explained in the post at the top of this page. TAG was forked so it should now be disabled. Don't expect to collect on the uber high estimates.

LTC is at $27 Is it not a no brain'er that right now it is MUCH more profitable to mine LTC then mine on HashCow???
Might be better, LTC is no joke ATM. The cows be sad if anyone leaves but we understand! Just think of all the money you have made if you have been keeping you're coins! [/quote ] Staying at the Cow for now as been getting good mining results here the last 3 or 4 days.. If it keeps up I stay LOL I had forgot I had like 15 LTC coins I had mined several months ago.. Just converted them to BTC and then Cashed it out.. NICE.. HashCow are we mining LTC here? We should be right? If not, why not?

Why not add LTC to the mix with a big handicap so it has to be WAY MORE profitable than the rest (like it is now) to get mined. With the long retarget time that LTC has, it is very likely you will stay on it for a long enough time to find a block. +1

Yeah unfortunately tag had some issues. It was disabled, and profits for the broken round adjusted...sorry to say.
We updated the client this morning and hit it again for awhile, it seems the same problem has re-occurred. While we disabled it for a short while, its been mentioned by some that these newer coins may not be lost, because the hard fork in the code hasn't actually happened yet. I'm still waiting to confirm this, but I've temporarily re-enabled the coin while I try and track it down. The gains for us by mining it in the meantime are too good to pass up, should we end up keeping these coins.
To summarize, it had issues, we lost a huge round, a client update was released which we updated to, and have since had huge rounds that we are not yet sure of the status on.
Will hopefully have an update again shortly.

These shitty cards are amazing... With any other settings I get from my 7970 more than 540 KH/s (but no where near 700 KH/s), with your exact settings I get 413 KH/s. Fucking unbelievable... Been there, done that..... Until...... I found this thread : https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,2963.0.htmlI Flashed BIOS as described there and I'm now getting 750 Kh/s per 7970 instead of 450-500. My bat file CGminer settings : setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer.exe -- scrypt -o -u -p --gpu-engine 1075 --gpu-memclock 1500 -I 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --worksize 256 --gpu-fan 80 Hope that helps. Thanks but my 7970 is a Club 3D.

Have You tried other versions of Catalyst drivers? And some older CGminer can help as well - I am still using 2.11 on my two rigs, because everything above 3.X I´ve tried sucks..
I am using BAMT 1.1 so it is older drivers I am using.

I hope these estimates are right... since tag was taken out and we should have not been mining them.... Unless it got fixed already and we continued mining them...

LTC is doing well in price but so are many of the other alt coins. LTC is sucking up so much of the GPU hash right now though that its difficulty is shooting up while all the others are plummeting. This is going to take care of itself pretty quickly imo.

Might be better, LTC is no joke ATM. The cows be sad if anyone leaves but we understand! Just think of all the money you have made if you have been keeping you're coins! or how about adding LTC into the mix? The LTC network is 50 GH, Cows is 400 MH, or less than 1% of that. Add in some variance and how often are you expecting to find a block? Proxy to another pool, sure, but they can do better than LTC anyway.
