im using 3.7.2. yes the 5 min is default for failover. which is fine i guess. however im not sure why it kept disconnecting. i saw it at least 10 times on my backup pool during the day.and everytime it was for only 5 minutes, which means your pool was not down for long. but for some reason i seem to lose connection every once in a while. and no its not my internet.

For those with problems with disconnects. It generally only disconnects breifly on coin change, part of the stratum implementation here for multiple coins to be mined. If  you use cgminer version 3.5.0 or earlier the switch back to mining happens much quicker. I have been mining here for quite a while and this issue keeps coming up, both in the forums and the IRC channel, but almost always comes back to version of cgminer.

Yep, exactly when we switched coins, for now, cginer 3.5 and older I believe is the best temp fix until a second stratum comes up.

I started having problems with disconnects today, been mining for a few weeks and never had any problems until today. Set a backup server and it seems to be hitting that fairly often not able to determine if its when coin switches occur or not. I'll take a closer look at it tomorrow.

You might be right, disconnects seem to be a little longer some rounds, we are going to take a look at it tomorrow (we are exhausted and need some sleep) to see if certain coins are getting hung up somewhere.

Update on the Estimated Earnings numbers.

Both Est. Unexchanged and Confirmed Exchanged, should be good going forward.   Also the round by round 'my est. earnings' should be working for btc-exchanged coins.  Unfortunately at payout time, the past 'my est. earnings' for rounds paid were wiped out, so you may see old rounds now showing 0.  These will eventually roll off the viewable list, and have in fact already been paid out.   I'll adjust the script going forward so that it doesn't clean these up immediately, to avoid the bad visual.

I'll get non-btc 'my est. earnings' back up as soon as possible.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

I Know it's supposed to have been corrected, but those "my est earnings" are extremely low for the last several rounds.  Not sure if this is still an issue?

It definitely wasn't accurate for me. After it was said to be fixed, my exchanged balance was 0.017, and my unexchanged balance was 0.0069 (and it has gone down since then). However, my payout tonight ended up being 0.044 (i was certainly relieved that it wasn't 0.017 considering my 2.1MH/s).  My estimated earnings column per round is extraordinarily low (but it's no longer 0). So, some numbers are still broke, but the payout was on point, so all's good for me.

And yep, server's down again.

Also problems here

another odd thing is that recently i get a lot more rejects on this pool, it i mine LTC then my Reject rate is less than 1% but for this night my rate was almost 11% o.O

setup information: using cgminer 3.7.2, my rig has speed around 1,5mhps.
using xfx290(locked) (870khps)
and xfx7950 3GB (630khps)

reject rate seems to be the same on both cards

I hope that you get the second server op soon! Cheesy

It's not the pool it depends on the coin currently being mined.

Rejects mostly occur when work starts on a new block, with bitcoin that's only every 10 minutes so very few, with litecoin at 2.5 minutes again it's low, but with some of the coins the pool mines with like fastcoin where a new block is every 12 seconds that means lots of rejects.

Don't worry about it too much, the level of rejects is taken into account when deciding if a coin is more profitable.

Stratum back up, me n nearmiss sleep, things break what's new. Anyways there is a obvious problem here that keeps happening so make sure you have failovers ready until nearmiss can awake from his beauty sleep to pin point the problem.

I am back to sleep.

just joined the pool and mined for a few days there is something extremely wrong with the payouts!  Angry

Dec 11th around 9PM EST -                                       EST unexchanged balance 0.0423644881, confirmed exchange balance 0.01028999 , confirmed balance 0.01739016 (added together = 0.0700446381)

Dec 12th (right now) 5:30 AM after last nights payouts  EST unexchanged balance 0.0042838950, confirmed exchange balance 0 , confirmed balance 0.0320995 (added together = 0.036383395)

How on earth did I lose almost half after the payout. There is no way I should be at 0.036383395. If I didn't screenshot before the payout yesterday it also would have been extremely hard for me to verify how much the difference was

I have not done a single BTC cashout

kb24mvp, if you care to read just a few posts back, you'd realize the pool has been having some serious issues, bad calculations and downtime for the last few days.

I thought it was a reporting error but the payouts were right as mentioned here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=293872.msg3929764#msg3929764

If I'm wrong and somehow there was an error and the rest will be paid to me then I understand
