Considering my investments for December/January. Looking at the price, features and the recent boom of BTC, HBN comes ahead of my potential investments in VNL or XCR.
HBN is just rock solid Cheesy

Yes. I think most people would agree with you there. As the Bitcoin price has risen HoboNickels has held its BTC value.

Cryptsy just released their new tier requirements

Tier 0 Maximum Withdraw Limits
Daily       $ 25
Monthly   $100

Tier 1 Maximum Withdrawal Limits
Requirements  : Real Name : Address : Birthday
Daily          $2000
Monthly     $10000

Alternative:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=HBN_BTC
No withdrawal limits at the present time.

 Cool

Crypsy restrictions have a positive. The exchange will grow in stature more quickly... It will not really slow HBN trade as there is not a huge volume yet. The HBN network stability is the most important factor at present.

taking unsync'd wallet offline so it doesn't stake while unsynced

I remember reading that somewhere ... I just noticed my wallet has been offline for 2 weeks.  How do I take the staking offline, until is sync's back?  (that's what I should do, right?)

If you have encrypted your wallet (as you should have if there's some substantial coins there) after starting-up just don't unlock your wallet for staking. That way you can always control it if for whatever reason that isn't happening by itself. Normally, the wallet will only stake when synced.

I'm no math wiz but looks like you got an obvious mistake here, unless I'm missing something.  Your 'yearly' figure is actually 10 months, not 12.
Hi, the formula I use is "amount * price", I assume PoS of 100% (although it is 91% now)
But there is something wrong indeed  Grin fixing now
is this one correct?
i don't think it s correct (unless you sell your shaking amount each time after stake)

because the coins you get with staking they stake too after 10 days right ?

The calculations are made from the console information of 100% yearly stake, I doubt that it is much different from this

Cryptopia volume: 150 HBN
Cryptsy volume: 15000 HBN

Still a way to go, but I agree we should support smaller exchanges like Cryptopia

3500 satoshi, hang on yer helmets. If BTC hits 400, the situation will get even more interesting. From there if Bitcoin goes down, some alts might rise in value to compensate in USD value. If Bitcoin soars even higher, people will start looking for coins which no longer fall or have started to climb and pour money in for leverage. Don't let them take advantage of you.
