It is not the best way to double money obviously, it is only the fastest way but it is also the riskiest way to double money. No doubt that we can double our money in seconds with gambling, but surely we cant also lose all of our money in seconds as well.

So, I asked a question a few pages back about this not working at work, and nobody was able to say what was happening. From what I think I've figured out, it doesn't work from my work's network because Coin Hive is blocked on that network. So "mining bitcoin" seems to be a bit misleading. I mean, since the results of your mining are being displayed only in the BTC value mined, I can see a technicality for saying that you're mining BTC, but from my limited understanding of what's going on, I think that the miner is mining Monero using Coin Hive and that value is automatically being converted to BTC and applied to your account.

It seems like the earnings per hash have gone way down from when I was first trying to figure this out. I missed out on the easy earnings because I was trying to figure out what was going on with this site and what it actually was doing I was earning at a rate that I would have expected to see from GH/s in mining Bitcoin - I wish they had just said on the beta test page that was only available to limited users, "This is an embedded Coin Hive miner. Your browser will mine Monero that is credited to your account as BTC because FreeBitco.in is a BTC only site." I would have been all over that!

Since there are so many people who are using this site then it would really be hard to get a high prize. I am claiming from this site for around two years now but not once have I won but then I already claim from their faucet many times so that would be considered as a prize for me already since it's free. I think adding new things like interest, mining and etc, helps to attract more and more visitors. Offcourse, this year we saw amazing rise of bitcoin price and maybe it was one of the reasons why so many newbies joined freebitco.in.
When I joined freebitco.in, there was 1 million registered users, and it's already was huge website.

That is a good suggestion because this site got 5% house edge so if anyone play for long surely they will be donating their money to this site owner. After so many people complain still they never consider to reduce the house edge means they want people to lose money on this site. If you're clever enough then you never spend money this hi-low game.

Just a lightbulb moment came up and I thought of this idea. Freebitco.in can develop it's own Alt coin, called FBCoin. You make sure it can only be mined by CPU's or GPU's < Asic resistant > and you let people "Browser Mine" it to gamble on your site. Mining BTC with CPU/GPU's are a waste of time and might even damage customers computers, if they do not know what they doing. ^hmmmmm^

You also run a exchange for people to convert FBC to BTC and use the trading fees to supplement the Free coins that are given to people via the Faucet.
