I can't talk about technical things, but it seems you are right that it is another bug they have. I heard before that people did not receive their WOF spins, but this time I am hearing that some people got some free WOF spins even after they sold their FUN tokens. Initially, I thought it was of glitch or maybe they are rewarding people because of the previous issues with WOF spins.

But seems like not only a few people received WOF spins after selling their Fun token, but not everyone. It confirms that it is another bug on their website and it's been around for a year which they did not fixed yet.
Now its long time this site having bugs which are not fixed by team which is surely creating feud and many things are also happening which are surely needed to be fixed but no positive response coming.
Many posts are indicating about few things which are understandable WOF are not working while many are facing deposits and withdrawals issues even few are having good feedback as their things are taking time but working ok its really miserable.
I don't think so, perhaps the premium wof distribution system were paused, and now they're gonna resume it,  and because of that , it's paying for those who didn't get it until the day they sold their tokens.
I personally was feeling things will be taken time and settled but its look like they are not caring about this and just enjoying which is coming recently few friends had problems with their wagering statics they send support about this with proof but no one have any response which is really frustrating now mostly are going with their alternative options because they are feeling it's all waste of time and nothing positive are coming in near future.

So they stole 544310 FUN from me 3 months ago and support has been nonexistent and not answering me since then.

That's about $26K at today's exchange rate. If it weren't for the fact that the site is in internet limbo and we don't even know which jurisdiction it answers to, it would be enough to consider taking legal action against it. And even more if you get a few aggrieved people together. But as things stand it is difficult.

I calculated it at $2,700, but it's still unacceptable if true. I found out that the company, FBC BV, is based in Curaçao, a Dutch territory in the Caribbean. This would explain why the Dutch government imposed a penalty on the site: https://next.io/news/regulation/ksa-imposes-weekly-penalty-fbc-bv/

So it seems to me the Dutch government is a possible avenue for those missing funds. Obviously, I would prefer the site owner to resolve these issues before they escalate. I just don't think whoever runs the site is out of reach - just because people say and believe so does not make it true.

I saw this on funtoken's telegram gp, they posted it on 27th April.

WOF is returning next week at FreeBitco.in! ! 🔥

And it’s getting even better — Double WOF rewards for the next 12 months! 🎁
I found this post in Telegram and wrote there that there are no WOF-spin's - they answered that there are and even attached a screenshot and banned me in Telegram, I answered from another account and another account was banned - let's draw conclusions
I got 32 wofs yesterday and 32 wofs today. So they're paying at least for the last level premium members. But there is a problem, I can't claim those wofs, even if I buy a wof with rp, it doesn't work.
They were right they want to pay double wof, but they should fix this issue.

I just checked and didn’t receive anything. Granted I sold all my tokens a while ago but they should still credit the WOF spins that are missing. Anyways, lets see how long they will distribute the WOF spins now. Anyone else receiving them?

You can't fix something you're not an expert in - and I don't know how many times I need to repeat that everything clearly indicates that the business was sold to someone obviously completely incompetent. If serious people took matters into their own hands, I think that in 1 month (if not sooner) everything would work as before.

As a rule, in any bona fide business, the change of ownership is smooth and without much trouble for the end user. Let's assume that freebitcoin does have a new owner. Still, then the question arises: why is he not interested in developing the platform? The fact that trivial problems on the site last for months and there is almost no communication with users indicates that the new owner is not particularly interested in the site's development.
It's not the incompetence of the new owner, it's something else.

So they started up finally for current holders but fuck all of us who held without them for a year, then finally sold our FUN at a loss before they pumped the bags. Fuck them.

I might have missed a digit. I calculated again now and I see you are right.

How so? The only way he would be entitled to anything is if he were a resident in the Netherlands, and he would have broken the law anyway by accessing a gambling site without a Dutch license.

Obviously, I would prefer the site owner to resolve these issues before they escalate. I just don't think whoever runs the site is out of reach - just because people say and believe so does not make it true.

Yeah, that would be the ideal way. Just starting an international legal proceeding would cost him more than $2.7K.

This just makes no sense that the owners (or new owners as some people seem to suggest this site is sold to someone else) don't care enough about their own business to not only fix its problems that are piling on but also they don't care enough to appoint someone to bitcointalk to actively address people's concerns and at the very least communicate with them!

Can't remember when I was last here to post, but are we still actually helping to prop this site up?

Personally can't wait for my locked FUN to expire so I can sell it all off. Yesterday got a dump of FOUR emails telling me to do all sorts of things, including a FUN earning programme on Telegram (can't be bothered to check if I'm accurately remembering). But if people who sell FUN are actually getting freespins, well, people on Premium like me aren't.

Have to say though, this site has successfully turned itself back into a free site where absolutely no one is going to deposit unless they're new.

Hey guys, I’ve been a Premium user on freebitco.in for a while. At some point I actually stopped logging in ’cause they didn’t give me the Wheel of Fortune spins they promised. That’s when I started thinking it might be a scam — even though there’s a ton of positive stuff about the site out there.

I was even about to send them traffic and try to make something with referrals, but that whole situation made me kinda lose trust.

Then I saw this headline: “Dutch Gambling Authority imposes penalty on Freebitco.in operator over illegal gaming.”
Anyone know what’s going on with that?

Also, I’ve been getting the WoF spins again for the last two days. Not sure if that’s a good sign… or just them trying to cover their ass. Thoughts?

How so? The only way he would be entitled to anything is if he were a resident in the Netherlands, and he would have broken the law anyway by accessing a gambling site without a Dutch license.

This is not true. Non-citizens can sue in foreign countries, and especially in the Netherlands.

There's no need for sarcasm. You are correct that filing a lawsuit would be impractical in the vast majority of cases, but if there are sufficient numbers of people who are missing funds - and to be fair there might not be in this case, because FBC has actually been paying out to numerous people, if not virtually everyone lately - a lawyer in the island or other jurisdiction might be interested in the case. In this case, judgments would be enforceable under international law. This is a hypothetical, however. In the case of FBC, the site appears to be cleaning its act a bit and actually behaving, although the site seems to have unresolved technical issues.

Well, development costs money. To get a good developer team, you have to pay them a good salary. It seems either the new owner is not interested in developing the website, or he simply does not know whom to hire, or he still tries to rely on low-quality devs he knows. I believe the first one could be the reason. They do not want to spend money on development anymore.

Their website is running, and they want to make as much money as possible using the same product without spending much on development.

But if people who sell FUN are actually getting freespins, well, people on Premium like me aren't.
It's not that those who sold their FUN tokens are receiving the WOF spins.
I sold my FUN tokens while they owed me nearly 1500 WOF spins. A few days after I sold my tokens, I received 24 WOF spins (in 4 days, 6 spins in each day) and nothing more.

I doubt I received those WOF spins because I sold my FUN tokens. I guess they credited some of missing WOF spins for a few days and that was stopped again.

FUN tokens are now looked like dead project with WOF are stopped for many even they are also having locked like me, I locked few for having WOF but just few days then nothing coming into my account, or maybe they will send these after few days like @hosemary received.

This would explain why the Dutch government imposed a penalty on the site: https://next.io/news/regulation/ksa-imposes-weekly-penalty-fbc-bv/

So it seems to me the Dutch government is a possible avenue for those missing funds.

Correct, it is more around $3k than $30k, the other poster was off by an order of magnitude.

Here is the transaction https://etherscan.io/tx/0x472a243dda6c1529be6bfb2fe5b5899d782ae9b2c07049165d6fdf532a2552ff and you can see the ERC-20 Token Transfer Error (Unable to locate corresponding Transfer Event Logs), Check with Sender message. Under "More Details" click on View in Decoder to see the amount of 544310 FUN that was not sent

I am based in Europe (not in the Netherlands though) but will look into trying to contact some party there.

I just don't think whoever runs the site is out of reach - just because people say and believe so does not make it true.

I've lost count of how many emails I've sent. I even came here to create an account and messaged the CS account when it appeared a few months back here in this forum but I have not received any answer. So yes, in my eyes they are out of reach and ignoring a lot of complaints and issues.

Can't remember when I was last here to post, but are we still actually helping to prop this site up?

Personally can't wait for my locked FUN to expire so I can sell it all off.

That's exactly what I was doing. My FUN unlocked in batches at the beginning of the year and when they unlocked I was transferring them off the site due to all the issues. The first 2 withdrawals went through, my last didn't and it has now been over 3 months since.

Be careful and make sure you check their wallet first before attempting to withdrawal. Make sure there is enough FUN in the wallet or you will get the same problem as me.

I believe they run a local bitcoin core which has 1 account with thousands of addresses, and then they credit your account with the amount that arrived on the address dedicated to you.
From my experience with FreeBitcoin, it's been safe and had no issues with deposit or withdrawl

Just look someone who knows
When I deposited BTC on free bitcoin in
What happen with crypto after?
Bcz on BTC explorer are depositing transactions
But with 0 zero balance

User deposits usually get consolidated and transferred into other addresses. When you are using a custodial service, it doesn’t matter so much what is on the blockchain as long as their internal database accurately reflects what your balance should be.

Oh really!

Got it today too and it works. Good sign, but like we say in our language - one swallow isn't a spring. If they will continue giving it daily, then it will be something positive. I'm just wondering how much time it will take to cover missing WOF's if they will give double rewards.

That's interesting, I haven't saw this article before, thanks for sharing it. Up to €840k penalty is a lot of money, but it's not that amount which should kill successful casino. In gambling world such and bigger penalties is regular thing in gambling world, even forsmaller casinos than Freebitco.in. Though, it's possible that they got penalties in other jurisdictions too.
