I would say no. They will not.
They showed us that they don't care about the community, or atleast the small amount of community that is here.

They showed us that they don't care about the community, or atleast the small amount of community that is here.

and this is a big red flag that everyone should not ignore or forget. a few years ago they were a reputable site, they had a subscription campaign that anyone on this forum would want to participate in, but today their reputation is terrible, and they may decide to close the site and run away with all the people's money, because now that they don't have a good reputation, there is nothing that would stop them from running away with people's money.

Yes they can but on the other hand, what stopped them previously to run away with our money ?
If they just wanted to run away with our money then they would have done that when they had a big chunk of our holding on their site.
Reputation would be their least concern because if they did cared about their reputation then they would have fixed all the issues long ago.
They would not have let their reputation decrease slowly every day.

Over these past days, FreeBitco.in has transferred billions of tokens to Binance. Their main holding wallet now only holds 21 million tokens and their hot wallet where they process withdrawals from has a little under 1 million. They typically refill their hot wallet once a week with 5 million tokens, so at this current pace their reserves could be depleted within a month if there is no new inflow of FUN into their wallets.

Oh really? Exiting to binance for a quick sell and run? Hahaha, i'm just kidding, but that's usually the MO before the site gets shut down.
Hopefully, i'm in the wrong, and they're just using the market fluctuation to get richer

Well, I really do not see anything wrong in withdrawing funds from a casino directly to an exchange, and this does not matter what type or which exchange, as a matter of fact,
But there are exchanges that don't accept deposits from casinos and may freeze your fund.
For example, depositing fund to coinbase from gambling websites or making a withdrawal to gambling websites is against their terms.

From Coinbase Prohibited & Conditional Use Policy:

Quote
Unlawful Gambling: Lotteries; bidding fee auctions; sports forecasting or odds making; fantasy sports leagues with cash prizes; internet gaming; contests; sweepstakes; or games of chance that are not sanctioned by a governmental body or regulatory authority.

Didn't know this and how much users are really aware of this? I think it also depends on the amount of money you would withdraw from the casino directly to the exchange. If you stay below a certain number, I don't think an exchange would flag it or that it would cause difficulties even if it is against their terms.
Let us be clear on one thing, exchanges can't just go rogue, there must be a reason for it and this is not about withdrawing lower amounts, it's about dealing with "unlawful" casinos as stated above. I wonder how your lowest withdrawal would push through if that (unlawful Gambling) was detected. But so long as you are dealing with the lawful or supposedly lawful casino regardless of how weak the regulation is, I think you will be just fine with a CEX like that. Besides, all my withdrawals from all casinos to CEX have always been smooth.

Welcome to the real world. My take:

If, like it was said in this thread a while ago, someone from Freebitco has converted a huge amount of BTC to ETH that would be deposited in Bybit, it can be guessed that this amount was eventually lost to recent attakers of the latter.

Bybit hack did not affect users of the crypto exchange, so even if the freebitco team has converted bitcoin to eth and moved it to bybit before the bybit hack happened, and the eth got drained in the process of the hack, bybit would have returned or replaced all the eth on the account if it was affected which I highly doubt anyway, since the hacker was said to have moved all the eth in a cold wallet storage, the eth hot wallet of the exchange was not affected, and it's possible that freebitco's eth is in the hot wallet and not in the exchange's cold wallet.

And speaking of the freebitco team moving alot of fun tokens to Binance to possibly sell, well, maybe also they are selling it to hold more bitcoin to be able to process btc withdrawals on the site, since almost every user all request withdrawals in BTC and not in fun token.

Are you gonna fix this wof promotional spins issue this year?  Angry
You're only quoting a post from a few months ago, so you won't get an answer from that account, as the rep has long since stopped replying to every question in this thread.
It seems you no longer need to hope that wof will come back, not this year or next year, because if they will return it they will definitely try to be active again in this forum, so you better be careful if you still have funds here, it is very possible that freebitcoin will closed when their domain expires in a few months

All the loss ETH of Bybit is now covered by the Bybit reserved funds so there’s no loss for all the users including the deposit of this casino in case they truly committed an exit scam by depleting their token bankroll slowly.

There’s no legit casino that will sell their token bankroll while there’s a lot of negativity surrounding their service.

Their move only show what’s their future action on this casino.

This doesn't seems like evolving in the right way by doing stuff like this. As you mention, this can be an exit strategy for them to get some more cash before shutting down. I would urge people to really withdraw all their remaining balances as they could stop paying any moment. Sad to see such a great site falling from grace.

Is there anyone who still hold large sums of BTC in freebitco.in after all that happened since last year? I guess we had more than enough time to cashout all our funds from this platform before the final colapse, which can happen anytime. The warning above is really serious and shouldn't be ignored by any users. There is nothing else to be expected from freebitco.in. I'm thankful for all good and nostalgic moments I had on this platform, but this is a very disgraceful way to die and to ruin all the good work built along the years.

Freebitco is not falling from grace, they actually have fallen from grace, it's sad really, most especially for the fact that this is one site alot of people trusted, and like I will always say, this was the site that ushered alot of persons into cryptocurrency but allowing them own their very first number of bitcoin Satoshi, it's totally disheartening to imagine the level of reputation and trust the guys behind freebitco threw away in the name of what exactly?

This is not the first time here, i have been saying this ever since this whole issue began, advicing every one to withdraw their funds off freebitco, and only leave minimal funds they can afford to lose and not worry over just incase we all wake up one morning to discover that the site is no longer online.

But I have a question though, if freebitco shuts down, what becomes of fun token?

I guess no one bother to hold any huge funds here anymore since for sure they already know what's going to happen. Maybe those people continue to gamble here are using small or either those amount they can afford to lose.

Those warnings is really serious and people should not ignore what's going to happen. But hopefully those negative situation came up on mind of people will not gonna happen and they comeback here fixing their issues and regain its old reputation as one of best old casino. Guess this is low chance to happen and it seems freebitco.in will just die naturally as the owner seems doesn't care about their casino anymore.

200 to 1 odds so close, 78k low today but it bounced so sadly not to be.   Nice try though.

It spiked in worth on take up on this site but might have been bigger in the past even.  Like alot of alt coins, it was speculated for its potential and FBC buying an old project rather then spending money developing their own was quite a canny move tbh.

EDIT:  Just to let everyone know... even with the mistakes I describe below my withdrawal was in fact processed after maybe a week.  I was thrilled it still went through and not sure if someone at Freebitco had to do it manually or whatever, but I got all my funds requested.  In the future I will be more careful and to avoid delays and unnecessary forum post!

Hello everyone,

I tried to withdraw from Freebitco the slow way, and I made a couple mistakes.   I am wondering if anyone else has done something dumb like this and whether the withdrawal will eventually time out or I can cancel somehow.

So basically, I tried to withdraw to a Segwit/bech32 address that starts with bcXXXXX... - It prompted me to use a "profile address" which I now realize was the legacy withdrawal address I used in the past, but it was late at night and didn't click with me that I needed to change withdraw address on profile.

I was just thinking "ok i want to use this other address instead" and entered the bech32 address.  Now the Slow Withdraw shows as "pending" and it has been about a week so I investigated and saw how I messed up.  I went to my profile and saw the Change Withdrawal Address option ...and obviously I should have done this first and made sure it all matched.  So I did try to use password and 2FA to change the profile withdraw addy to the BECH32 address that had the withdraw pending, however, the site replied with red popup window:

"Please use a legacy bitcoin address as your profile address (starting with a 1 or a 3) and not a bech32 one"

Does anyone know if my attempt to withdraw will timeout or cancel at some point, and then I can change profile address to a legacy BTC withdraw wallet addy, or use the old one I used to use long time ago (I still have this wallet) ... Or can I cancel somehow?  I know support is flooded with emails about premium WoF spins, but should I contact their support through Freebitco site and beg them to cancel my attempt to withdraw and hopefully the BTC will be returned and I can just do the right way using a legacy address that matches my profile withdraw address?

If anyone has experience with this please help me.  Or open to suggestions on how to proceed here.  I'm hoping someone has tried to withdraw to Segwit/Bech32 in past and it just times out eventually... anybody do that or know what will happen?

https://ibb.co/5NGKd8z

I have linked to image of pending payout here, I wasn't sure how to put in post, but I'm sure I could figure out if necessary

How often do they do that? Is this activity something usual or unusual? If this is unusual, then I think it's a very bad for Freebitco's customers. I don't understand why people still gamble there, I withdraw all of my funds many months ago when there were unresolved issues for straight 3 months.

But I have a question though, if freebitco shuts down, what becomes of fun token?

I thought that FUN was lying about their promises but now I think that they really want to do something. Recently I visited their website, a few months ago they only had the DICE game on their website and were planning to add other games and today I saw that they have already added Fun Raffle and Fun21 (BlackJack). Their roadmap is also updated.

What will be the problem, if the fund is sent to the bech32 address? Don't you have control over that address?
You don't have to use your profile address when requesting a withdrawal. You can use any address you want instead and it's not that your withdrawal hasn't been processed because you used a different address from your profile address.

I was just thinking "ok i want to use this other address instead" and entered the bech32 address.  Now the Slow Withdraw shows as "pending" and it has been about a week so I investigated and saw how I messed up.
What will be the problem, if the fund is sent to the bech32 address? Don't you have control over that address?
You don't have to use your profile address when requesting a withdrawal. You can use any address you want instead and it's not that your withdrawal hasn't been processed because you used a different address from your profile address.
I don't know, I may be mistaken but I think I've actually read something that using your profile address for withdrawal requests makes the processing much more faster than when you use an external wallet address different from your profile address.

It's been a long time and I can't recall right now the place I read that, either it was on this forum or it was on the freebitco site itself, since I've never sourced information about freebitco.in outside of this forum or aside from the actual freebitco site.
I will leave this for someone else to confirm anyway, but I believe using one's profile address when requesting a withdrawal makes the withdrawal request to be processed much faster than when using any other address.

I don't know, I may be mistaken but I think I've actually read something that using your profile address for withdrawal requests makes the processing much more faster than when you use an external wallet address different from your profile address.
Just a guess. Maybe using a different address from the profile address increases the probability of the withdrawal being flagged to be reviewed manually.
I just know that in the case you use your profile address, you don't need to verify your withdrawal via email even if you don't have 2FA enabled.
