BitFence tokens can be bought using only ETH? Or they are accepting other cryptocurrencies as well? I don't know if they are accepting Fiat currencies, but I expect other crypto coin options.

What i like from Bitfence is that the tokens will be minted on your purchase, and it is fast. While others generate too much amount of tokens, or mint the tokens at a later date. This is way better !

So basically there's isn't any total supply at the moment. The amount bought at the end if ico will turn out to be the total supply?

Max token supply can be calculated based on hardcap goal. Good thing is that we don't have to worry about unsold tokens.

True, this is the most efficient way, because you will have less work to do like burning it after the ICO. This should be the standard for the new Icos. I don't know why they still don't use this way.

Another interesting method is to create the tokens onse the token sale is over.
If there are unsold tokens, you just dont generate them.

Yeah, but you will not receive them quickly after you have invested. Sometimes it can even take longer, if the team decides to slowly generate them after the ICO.

It is true that it would a long time before you receive your tokens, but I think the impact to the value of the token is quite big if the team does decide to dump unsold tokens, burning them after token sale is perhaps better considering you get your tokens directly after purchase

I thought the team will be minting the tokens based on the number of investors, which is good and gives little or no room for the bad effect of dumping just like i stated earlier, so i believe their is no need for the burning of unsold token scenario, when the weak hands dumb, the strong hands will be waiting to collect from them

That's correct.  The TGE (Token Generating event) created them when they are bought, the supply isn't generated all at once.

That's great then, so that shouldn't be a source worry to those that consistently ask of the total supply, as it doesn't apply to this project and is really exciting to know this, so the main point of agenda for this project is to have a successfully ICO, deliver what they promised and this alone will give the community reasons to hodl, so i see the value of this project hitting the roof soon

Most of the Icos don't accept fiat money, but sometimes they will allow it. For me it is better to invest with the crypto coins, because you will not have any problems with your bank.

BitFence just announced that they're sponsoring the World Blockchain Forum in New York this year!  They're going to be holding a keynote speech and will be taking a bunch of the StingMiners with them  Grin

that is great news, just wanted to share a usefull medium article by bitfence which explains the concept of StingMiners for the new comers:
https://medium.com/@bitfence/bitfence-what-is-honeypot-honeynet-and-stingminer-and-how-i-can-mine-hackers-398bc47e178e

short simple and straight forward, using winnie the pooh in the illustrations and example brought back lots of memory, the raspberry and beagleone was better explain and i kind of like the economy around it especially as it deals with low power

Is there any airdrop available from Bitfence ICO ? I know that there is a bounty available, because there is a thread for that.

You could take part in the Bitfence signature campaign because Peculium has finished the bounty campaign and you're carrying the signature for free
With Bitfence there is really a high reward, because there are not many participants in the signature campaign
and as far as i know, there is no airdrop

There has been no airdrop since I'm aware, which is a good thing in my opinion to keep the coin value upon exchange listing; I think the team just need to knuckle down on the marketing and take control of this niche market

Wow.. This would be awesome, wish i could attend events such as this. I just hope the event would be streamed live so that interested viewers can follow up with the event.

Keynote speakers are usually streamed and recorded, I assume the team will also record it for the community!

This is a good practice to imbibe in matters like this so that there can be a play back if need be or published by the team for the sake of those who missed it

Nope and I’m hoping they don’t I rather they maintain a high value by giving away as few tokens as possible I think a limited amount for bounty and a small amount for marketing but for airdrop I find that doesn’t do much for the teams that have airdrops

If they are accepting BTC, LTC, DASH so can we have data exactly how much fund they raised yet? I mean their ETH goal is 2000. But what about that others currencies?

I never observed yet. Thanks nesh to display details here. Even I seen that they said softcap in USD, hardcap in USD. Also in progress bar they said their goal is 2000 ETH. Then how they are calculating this fund? For example, ETH price is flactuating frequently then how they decided exactly how much they received or will receive from investors to continue next step.

It is easier and faster transacting with crypto than with fiat.. Who wants to go through all the stress accompanied with fiat payment. I prefer crypto payment to fiat.

Hardly few people would like to use Fiat currencies to invest in new tokens. Its expected that people who going to invest in new ICOs, already holding some existing listed tokens. So I think its fine they have not given the option for Fiat.

Thanks, friends for sharing the details. I don't expect Fiat option but I was expecting multiple cryptocurrencies as an option to buy BitFence tokens. Its good to see they have kept 3-4 options.

Actually fiat is accepted because it is easier for non-crypto holders to fill their bags otherwise they will have to go through an exchange and KYC process...etc It is easier for non-crypto holders to jump in quicker. Plus if credit cards are used you have the charge back option which is safer for investors.

They are paying very good rewards for just having a signature on your posts, as mentioned above; good chance to get some free Bitfence tokens which would seem to be do very well in the near future with the progression they are making

yeah, you could essentially use them to pay for your subscription for a decent chunk of time if it does well!
