I have 1 order I don't have any idea who it came from, amount sent was ~10 BTC
Yes, it's a strange problem we sometimes have with our Version 1 site combined with the success we've had. One time we even had a lady or gentleman place an order in before we had the GB round offering ready. Before we were ready to list it on the forums, we only had the mfg., hashrate, and price listed in the title, with a site description that literally said: "Placeholder text" and he sent us a payment for some shares. That was a first and a source of some surprise and amusement that someone would trust us to fill in the blanks later.

Do we know if i order tomorrow, when the shipment will take place? as a guesstimate? What i'm getting at as it's all good and well being batch 1 still but could there or is it likely to be a few weeks between ship dates instead of a few days?
DB XX/
What people fail to understand is no company can ship all units on day 1, if you ordered 1 day before they changed the ship date to March 10th odds are yours would be shipped closer to the 10th than in February. February 24th was when they would start shipping day 1 orders. If units are still available in a few days it would be with their updated date. I have 1 order I don't have any idea who it came from, amount sent was ~10 BTC

No this was likely a customer that wanted something specific I gave them an address to use and they didn't contact me after they sent the payment.

I have no understanding of how mfg works.. perhaps they build build build ship .... build build build ship. That would explain a 10-14 shipping gap. To me I'd expect you to ship one batch over several days... so if I'm ordering and mines shipped a few days later thats great but if it's 2 weeks well I think I should be told this and sold on this basis i.e. paying less than feb's $130 or perhaps refunded $40 per share if it turns out a mid March delivery. If this comes across rude I apologise, no offence meant

Ok thank you for clarification, if I order tomorrow what date in March are we looking at? If the price is reduced in the next two months do I get more shares to reflect this?
Thanks

But are you going to divide it into Feb people and March people? Because otherwise you are diluting those of us who bought earlier with people who paid later but who don't have hardware online. You either need to split them into a new GB or you need to figure out a way that they won't start getting paid until their hardware comes online.

March is separate from Feb.

most likely earlier then march 15. if you pay today for 40gh that is a share that is 130usd. that is your commitment. so 10 shares = 1300 and 400gh and should be online earlier then the 15th of march. if black arrow is late oh well they are late. I have 12 shares here I am due 480 gh in late feb. this coop has been pretty good so far. but BTC mining is a high risk investment we have had more success then a lot of other group buys, but we are less then perfect.

After my experience with CloudHashing and their late delivery I'm somewhat reluctant. It's a bitter pill to swallow having to pay the same price as people who get mining 5-15 days earlier and stand to make a good few coins that I'll miss out on. That's all I'm thinking at the moment.

well why not think that btc went up from low 600's on your cancelled order to low 700's thus while you may have a delay of 10 days you spend less coin to buy it. oh and by the way I am the one that gave cloudhasher his negative trust rating so I feel you on ch. this coop is far better then ch

Hi Doeboy, Question 1: To answer this: we don't know, and to tell you any different is to make stuff up. I've given my opinion on the matter earlier in the thread a couple pages back, but the "official" date given by BA is mid-March FWIW. I hate to say it, but we as miners all have to find a comfortable balance between being too soon or too late on a deal (or whether to pull the trigger on a deal in the first place), and that's a decision that we all have to come up with on our own. Question 2: If the price is reduced in two months that has zero bearing on the price of these available shares at this particular time. If anything, I expect the price may actually increase as the delivery date nears, as in-hand or near-term hardware still has a premium over far off pre-orders. For example: Early R17 buyers benefited by having lower priced shares locked in with the February orders. I'm fond of KnC, and see them as the gold standard as far as ASIC mfgs. at the moment. However, this March R17zj (or R17zk) sub-round is still a better hashrate value than a Neptune due to be shipping as early as April but if things hold to form, will most likely be shipping closer to the end of June, if we're all being honest about this biz. Cheers.
