Will it damange the S1 by only running power to the side with the ethernet port and not hooking power to the opposite side? Basically only mining from one board. I am having power issues right now where I keep blowing the fuse to the circuit box.
If your running that tight on the circuit I think I would just unplug the miner. Not worth the risk to your home/building. Edit: Also I have penciled mod and undervolt my 9 S1's which dropped the watts by 200 each and still hash @140 which maybe an option for you.

i wanted to point multiple S1 to the same worker so total 400Ghs (approx) will consume by one worker only.
Any suggestion or advise on how to do it?

Use the same worker name for both and set the difficulty at the pool to 256. No issue as all. I keep mine separate in case one goes down.

I keep mine separate in case one goes down. i don't know why, but with 256 diff, get more shares per "shift" (72k - 76k) ---> (84k - 92k) with 3 s1. (190gh >256) + (190gh >128) + (200gh >256) 0.52% or less rejected.

A good rule of thumb is to set difficulty to the power of two below your hashrate.

Hi guys I've read some of the pages of the thread and did a google search without finding the answer to my question. I bought 2 Antminer S1 Both of them are plugged in a Thermaltake 750 watt PSU After 24h hours of mining one of them is showing alot of HW errors. Like half the shares. All ASICs chips are OK and both S1 are plugged in the same switch pointing to the same pool. I did a reboot on the S1 with all the errors and after only 17 minutes it's already showing the same trend. Could it be my PSU? Here's a screenshot after the reboot http://www.flickr.com/photos/56699195@N00/14856322640Thanks for the help!

To calculate use HW/(HW+DiffA+DiffR)= HW%.

I have two Antminers S1 working good for the Last few Weeks their are both connected to a CX750M PSU not OCed. In the last few days, the Miners stop working sometimes. The S1s are well connected to my network. I can log in but no Mining activity. The Miner Status Tab is Blank. Everything was working before. Does anyone experiencing the same Problem? Or is my S1s going Bad? Please give me some Advice. Thanks!

By "Restart", you mean a Reboot? because I have done that multiple time but still the same thing. the whole thing just started yesterday. I left it cool down for a couple of hours and restarted both of them and everything was working fine. Few hours later, both S1 were bipping. What was your Solution to fix your problem?

Mine are on Internet facing IP's and I was getting DDOS'd from china. So i put the ip's on the ban list within the ant's iptables. Are they set to static ips? If it's beeping it means no internet access, so you DHCP lease may have run out. But other than that, I'm out of solutions without more info.

I'm getting a 502 "Bad Gateway" message when trying to connect to one of my S1's. It's been going on for a month or so and it mines fine (thus I could ignore it this long), and I can access it via SSH, but not the web interface. Any ideas?

Hello i accidentally remove my cgminer on my ant miner s1 under system and software. i need help on the ff: 1) how can i install the cgminer to and what version should i install 2) where can i find the default script?
Thanks
One option is to re-flash your S1 with the latest firmware from the Bitmain support page. Another option is to install cgminer 4.6.0 as described elsewhere in this forum. The process for that is login to your S1 with Putty, then enter the following: cd /usr/bin wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/antminer/s3/4.6.0-140908/cgminer chmod 755 cgminer reboot Cheers

Yes, Putty is an SSH client, you can use the default settings, enter the ip address of your miner (need to accept the initial security certificate on first use). re-flashing the Bitmain firmware would be simpler though. Cheers
