@ AE devs, did you made a balance tracking already and if so did you found any diffs between your
filled/cancel orders if you unroll them back to inital balance?

ps: thx abctc

Unconfirmed balance bug is not fixed yet.

yes, this is  what threw a wrench into any attempts at accounting ...

Androklis Polymenis (me) donates a million digital NXT coins to BPF! $43,000. Press release [PDF]: http://goo.gl/t8tWY8

https://twitter.com/Lets_Upgrade/status/438525224368107520

wow,so generous.

This needs more media coverage. Anyone has account with http://service.prweb.com/ ?
PUMP!

Why they hoard so many coins? They can't sell all of this coins anyway. From the block chain, these account(2159498187382012684,4747512364439223888,9433259657262176905,14571285356259793594) have more than 45M NXT(some of them split they account). Please sell it, donate it, anyway. The price will be never going up too far if they hoard so many coins.

why should i? look at all the donations that people gave for marketing! 0 result

one guy gets 40k every month for burning more nxt for nothing, why should i donate, to burn even more?

till now NXT has produced nothing but hot air, i am still waiting on all that promissed features: no working clients, no working asset exchange, nothing.

what is marketing doing: exactly nothing.

when nxt is near one dollar if ever maybe then i will think about it till then you all a bunch of amateurs

i miss vision here on all fronts leading nxt to nowhere, get your act toghetter or prepare that nxt will be 0.000000001 again

I don't believe you: drop the price of NXT.  Do it.  I'll gobble that up like there's no tomorrow.

And if it turns out that you are sitting on those accounts: you forget that your wealth is just encoded in software, it's not magic, and the rules can be changed.

I don't believe Emule is an original stakeholder, but regardless, you can't support wealth confiscation / re-distribution.  This will destroy the Nxt community.

No one knows who controls those accounts.  The more people that criticize those stakeholders the less likely they are to want to participate because they will feel like they aren't part of the community.  Don't forget that by not selling they are protecting the network from a 90% financial attack.  Also, those big holders will be the ones that support Nxt into the coming years.  They will have the financial resources to do so.
I seriously doubt it man, if they don't care now (IDLE) what makes you think they will care later?
Probably they wait cryptsy and/or AE to start dumping...

Even that would be a change though!

@Klee, cool research project! Let’s move it one notch higher - from immortal brain wallets to cold storage across galaxies, just so your NXTs are more securely preserved.

Take a snapshot of your Connectome (delineated pathways of the brain). Pump the Connectome into a laser beam and shoot it to a relay station across the galaxy, which takes the laser beam and then puts into a surrogate. Your conciousness & your NXT cold storage brain wallet has just been teleported!
Oh, MiM problem not yet addressed, but I'm sure someone will figure that out Smiley

What if THEY "read" ur Nxt account passphrase? They will have access to ur brain, right?  Cheesy
Shit, that is bad!  Tongue

Solutions? Maybe a DAC???

Awaken man's switch??  Cool
Maybe BCNext and Satoshi are aliens beamed here and are invisible for us or only present as holograms - they can interact though with our digital equipment...

We should not assume this and do our own analysis.  Even the smartest people make mistakes.

CfB: Is this a known bug:
I issued 10 Blubs and made a sell offer for all 10 Blubs (worked). Then I cancelled this offer.
Now I try to make again the same sell offer, and now I get the "Not enough funds" error

If unconfirmedBalance <= 0 then it's a known bug.

SSL-Error: SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

is this part of the problem you have been having. Sorry not really a techy.

Quote
SSL can be enabled for both the API server and the UI server (default disabled).
If this is done, the corresponding ports will accept https requests only. There
is no way currently to have both http and https supported at the same time, but
this can be added, I just didn't see the need for it.
If you enable SSL, you need to set nxt.keyStorePath and nxt.keyStorePassword,
and obviously you need to have your own SSL certificate (self-signed or signed
by a CA) in a keystore file. I have only tested this with a self-signed
certificate.

How i can make a self-signed certificate? Some guide step to step?

Jean-Luc said that JDK has a key tool.

Klee, very generous of you! I thought I read in one of your earlier posts that you donated more than 1 million (to other causes not yet revealed). If this is true, please consider coordinating with the marketing team for the most effective press coverage, at the time it happens.

No, then it's not that bug, maybe a new/unknown one? I get {"balance":1475210,"effectiveBalance":1900,"unconfirmedBalance":1321550} for account 14982679201235752929

http://holms.cloudapp.net:6874/nxt?requestType=placeAskOrder&secretPhrase=XXXX&asset=16656868189198801021&quantity=10&price=1&fee=1&deadline=1440
gives {"errorCode":6,"errorDescription":"Not enough funds"}, but I own these 10 "Blubs"

What's the api call to get how many of a specific asset I own?

Update: similar strange behavior also with asset "Blubb2" (assetid 4246603043373483850) and Account Number 7744741704652453843

I traded them a few times between these two accounts, made multiple bid and ask orders and cancelled them again before they were confirmed

@mynxt.info, nxtcrypto.org and nxtbase.com :

If you open up bot access, please also enable CORS. This allows cross domain ajax requests which web clients like mine ( http://nxtra.org/nxt-client/ ) need to access remote nodes.

THANK YOU!

Enable it in nxt.properties :

nxt.apiServerCORS=true

This allows cross origin requests; e.g. from my web client to your site. There shouldn't be a downside. If you allow bot access, normal applications can access your site, they have no restrictions. But websites place these restrictions. Enabling CORS removes that restriction.

Hey, bittrex asks why this doesn't work:

Code:
 > curl -X POST -H "Content-Type:application/json" --data "secretPhrase=xxx" http://127.0.0.1:7876/nxt?requestType=getAccountId
{"errorCode":3,"errorDescription":"\"secretPhrase\" not specified"}

What is wrong here?

this will work:

curl --data "requestType=getAccountId&secretPhrase=xxx" http://127.0.0.1:7876/nxt

thanks, had to be POST but if I remove the -H content-type it works :-) bittrex exchange is back at work on integrating nxt :-)

Thanks Wesleyh for working with these guys, been a huge help.
