I'm having a problem with a deposit to Cryptsy; they are trying to figure it out now - but for:
TXID: 17382535369365778939
I sent 27,493 NXT from my wallet to my Cryptsy address yesterday (March 22) with a fee of 1 NXT. In my NXT client (.NXT v.0.0.7.5) it shows as processed with 588 confirmations. In the blockchain explorer, the TX ID has 9 confirmations and shows the correct date March 22; however on my wallet, and the Cryptsy wallet address it shows this transfer with a date of Nov 24 2013. What's happening here and where are my NXT? Any help?

Let's just employ Adam B Levine as our spokesperson. He's as good as it gets. I'd rather have him continue to speak from a person's building a project on top of Nxt perspective and/or from a Nxt investor's perspective. If his project is successful and/or his investment is profitable... you got yourself a lifetime spokesperson!!! I'd have to let you make me your spokesman, and as mentioned in other places I'm not picking sides. I think there is huge potential in all the metalayers and I want to help all of you succeed as much as possible. The future is big and roomy, lots of room for multiple projects and communities to work on these ideas in parallel and since the whole thing is open source it is merely quaint competition rather than antipathy driven. Regardless, you can buy air-time on my program (as NXT did two months ago, and I think Kris has been doing great work with it) if you want to keep NXT in mind for people tuning into LTB or the other shows on our network. But you can't buy me You can only demonstrate that you'll looking for ideas that solve problems instead of ideas that reinforce an arbitrary leaders ego. I think NXT has a damn good chance of that simply because ya'll don't have leaders. I'd highly recommend as many NXTers as possible read the book "The Spider and the Starfish: The Unstoppable Power of Leaderless Organizations" - You guys have an "apache" or "na'taan" model of leadership, you just don't know it so it doesn't work too well. NXT is like the beast with a thousand arms and no head. Difficult to organize, but with many resources at its disposal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dzK-0wB-CAYou are absolutely right. Can you come to our own new forum http://107.170.117.237 to visit or set up your own thread? I think members will have more serious conversation over there. Thanks.

What about a slogan that isn't as descriptive ("decentralized", "crypto, "plaftorm), but still has crypto connotations:
"NXT - ahead of the curve."

Relying on the user having a password manager is not good. The idea is to have something like a wallet.dat because people know it. I think providing different options for the user (brainwallet (and lastpass/1password), wallet file) is the best solution so far. Of course we should talk about details and other options. http://107.170.117.237/index.php/topic,56.0.htmlWhy not have both? We should provide symmetric key encryption of a nxt.dat file that contains passphrases.

It's better to leave out this 'Crypto' prefix... I'm sure general public don't care about it... NXT - Advanced Decentralised Solutions

Is Bter considered the best place to exchange into NXT? I've seen a few people announce here that they're interested in acquiring, and I don't know if I should go ahead with Bter, or Cryptsy (Is one better than the other?).
I'm looking to exchange 5 BTC for the equivalent in NXT.

From the Starfish and the Spider:
The Catalyst. Leaders of starfish organizations are vastly different from traditional executives. A catalyst is any element that initiates a reaction without fusing into that reaction. In open organizations, a catalyst is the person who initiates a circle and then fades away into the background. They generated ideas and then allow the circle to follow through. They get a decentralized organization going and then cede control to the members. Letting go of the leadership role, the catalyst transfers ownership and responsibility to the circle.
