Probability of that is very-very small.  But, anyhow, the number of blocks generated by this 50% account will be strongly reduced, so this would encourage splitting.

Yes - so I think what are looking for is some sort of balance between "encouraging account splitting" and "how much advantage that would give you" whilst at the same time having as much "randomness" as we can get.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

Generation signature of previous block and public key of the account that attempts to forged this block.

FIFY?

We assume that current block is not generated yet and millions of other accounts r trying to generate it.

You were talking about the Generation signature of previous block.

Not the next one.

Anyway. The generationSignature does not depend on the content.

The forging queue does depend on the generationSignature and therefore does not depend on the content of the blocks as well.

So, the only why of gaming the system is to create accounts that is a legitimate forger in the future.

Because the probability of forging decreases when splitting accounts, that might seems highly unlikely.

For the english speakers : I want to have a discussion with the french speaking community of NXT (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, french Africa, etc.). I propose to make a comity and a NXT fund to :
- have referents people for the french media ;
- help the french speaking project (marketing, stores, economics project, etc.) ;
- communicate the french projects to the world community.

Agreed - so the remaining issues are of selectivity (does that bias things?) and then of randomness (unless we want another way to generate that).

Also the *effectiveness* of TF (in terms of quick confirmations) is going to be determined by this (as we can't easily stop "flooding" attacks - but widening the number of IP addresses will make those attacks harder).

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

You talked about the amount of randomness. What is that amount and how do we measure it?

Maybe, you could clarify these things and what is the issue/purpose of it:

1) selectivity
2) randomness

(Not only for me but for all)

Actually, there will be some quantum effects when we get completely working TF (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse is similar to one of these effects). But for now let's stick to Newton-like interpretation.

Here is an update of todays payout on hashrate.org. I used the timestamps between payouts as the mining time. In 14h of mining between payouts I got 492 nxt. In one day this would give 843 NXT or 0.0555 BTC at current prices (cryptsy).

Factoring in my hashrate I end up with a profitability of: 0.00856 BTC/MH per day

For comparison traditional BTC multipool profitability of the last 24h:

- hashrate.org: 0.00856 BTC/MH
- clevermining: 0.00550 BTC/MH per day
- wafflepool: 0.00518 BTC/MH per day

Keep in mind that payouts on multipools vary greatly between days. I will stay on the pool and keep posting updates. So in the course of a week or two we should have a clearer picture. Anyways, the last payout was fantastic. Keep up the good work paradigmflux!

Hey Mann!

...
Wow that was awkward .. I'm actually beginning to feel uncomfortable writing german .. drats..

You talked about the amount of randomness. What is that amount and how do we measure it?

Maybe, you could clarify that:

1) selectivity
2) randomness

So "selectivity" is how many nodes are "qualified" to forge next (whether there is 1 best one or x best ones).

Randomness really comes from "selectivity" as the more "selective" we make TF then the "less" random the forging gets (unless forgers machines are off or lose internet connectivity).

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

Well, I am lucky that my brain is quantum compatible.

What about yours?

Thank you.

So, it comes down to: do we need an x > 1 and what for do we need that?

After I started working on Nxt my IQ went from 68 to 83. I hope this will be enough.
