Because some people send coins there to "donate" them. Sounds strange, but it is very easy to donate coins that way instead of just abandoning your account.

PS: also in the last 30 days there was only your transaction.

I think this is so really stupid argument. If I want to donate it, I would rather donate it to someone I know, rather to random hacker running a bot by sending them to "null" account.

I doubt anyone sending nxt to "null" account are donating it. They are all new users making the same mistake.  There is no point in arguing it's  not a problem. Brain Wallet by itself is a for very advanced users who understand entropy.  

It should be make much harder for users to just enter any random (or nothing) as pass phrase

The current state of wesley client is better than original client, but it's still not enough.
We really need a wallet.dat.


My 40,000 NXT bounty still hold. (When wallet.dat is integrated in official client AND is the default option )

I have sent some <10 NXTs to this account to get rid of them in the beginning of NXT to test things. Now i just donate to specific guys. But you can actually see, that there are nearly NO transactions to easy accounts anymore.

There is wallet.dat with offspring.

The built-in client (which as has been said many times was supposed to be temp) can't have wallet.dat as it runs from a browser with restricted access to hardrive.

I didn't actually. Can you provide a quote of me saying that? I won't hold my breath.

If I'd known the client I was downloading was so poorly written it'd display someone else's account number so readily I'd have been more careful or downloaded a superior client.

n/m pretty sure I'm wasting my time with this mess of a coin. I'll move on to the next 100% premine.
