I bet if we offer him more than the expected value of etherium, then he would change the team I would bet the opposite of that - he is tied to Ethereum and with "golden handcuffs" so don't think for a minute he would do that. With ethereum he has a potential big reward, if he gets lets say 5 mio USD for changing and doing the same work with this coin, I can't possible beleive that he would not accept.

Then offer the same to CfB and see if "he will change sides" would be my suggestion.

I would agree - "it is his baby" so unless they "push him into the background" he'll stay.

Yeah it's his baby, but on the other hand, never having to work again after one single project must be awesome. He can then create whatever he wants with no pressure at all, his whole life long! Maybe it is just me though

What Ethereum intends to provide is a blockchain with a built-in fully fledged Turing-complete programming language that can be used to create "contracts" that can be used to encode arbitrary state transition functions, allowing users to create any of the systems described above, as well as many others that we have not yet imagined, simply by writing up the logic in a few lines of code. Afaik when we have AT, we have this. Before Ethereum. We don't. It's not implemented yet, and I doubt it will anytime soon

I think the people from Goldman Sachs on their team are actually a big asset to the Etherium project. A lot of the financial contracts can get confusing as hell to laypeople, so having professionals with experience at the higher levels of finance is actually a feather in their cap. Also, consider the legitimacy it confers on the project in the minds of professional financiers that may one day start issuing crypto contracts. I know Goldman Sachs has PR problems, especially in the crypto currency world that was started in part to do an end run around the pros, but their knowledge and experience can easily be adapted to the new crypto paradigm. For those that have been around long enough, just think about the GLBSE mess from a couple years ago. That's what can happen when a bunch of amateurs get uppity and fancy themselves as CEOs capable of managing stock issues, derivatives and so forth.

I think it's rude and in your case passive aggressive not to pay the fee.

Can someone make a distribution graph/table and send it to me via PM?
Just to share out the distribution currently the elite contains now only 20 members. Distribution looks pretty damn good to me... a hell of a lot better than Bitcoin was when it was 5 months old! Wishful thinking it is. Bitcoin was much more affordable then and had no competition... that makes big difference. And you don't have in bitcoin forging system favourising all big fishes and robbing all small holders who don't get any ROI, actually it's useless to forge if you aren't big fish so NXT is designed to be oligopoly from the start. What real new features were finished latly? You saw any? These are healthy concerns. NXT needs democracy, decentralisation and major reform if it want to compete not only with bitcoin but against any sec gen virtual money. Promises and hopes have short life. Big thread also doesn't indicate true quality of developing work if it never becames developed. You know who robs stakeholders? PoW. Bitcoin has 10% inflation per year currently, NXT has 0%. Every second you hold onto Bitcoin, you're losing some of the value and putting it directly into a miner's pocket. Also, most hobbyist miners (aka GPU miners) have moved onto scrypt coins because they cant compete with the "big fish". Pandaisftw
