I choose long term trading is because i think it's has a better security for my funds. Long term can have a higher chance of success especially if we don't have enough funds to trade. Another thing is if you are too busy to monitor some of your investment i think you should chose long term trading. If you are new also in trading then long term trading is a better choice also for you. Just learn everything here before you try trading.

yes it is all correct but only if you are talking about a well established market with little to no manipulation and a solid demand from ream buyers and also most important of all: a good long term potential.
this simple definition limits you to bitcoin and even bitcoin doesn't fit all of the conditions since it is still a small market and is manipulated to some extent. when you talk generally and cover altcoins too then it means you are wrong. the altcoins are never good long term investments and you can do it and make profit too but you will be taking a huge risk and it will be more like a gamble instead of a trade.
Holding some altcoins for a long time is a risky investment since you don't know what will happen to the coins. Currently, we have thousand of coins in the market and many of them are considered dead abandoned by the team and it is just existing in the market for speculation purposes and this type of coins are often use by the pump and dump groups. The coins that I am wiling to hold for the long term are those that have been existing for a long time along with bitcoin. There is a potential that these coins would be valuable if the developers continue to develop it.

most prefer long term trading because I think long term trading provides security in trading so you do not always need to see the price in exchange place every day, you just need to open buy order and open sell order with long distance.

Personally from my experience in forex trading I will rather recommends a long term in Cryptos due their high volatility thus Daily timeframe will be my minimum trading plan, of course a trade may last several days to hit profits invariably fears and emotions will be minimal compared to a short term trading, more so daily analysis of a trading set up using a daily timeframe requires just a few minutes of analysis before taking a decision.

Many people are choosing longterm because they can get more profit becaude they can wait the price increase very high. But it depends ti the coin that you hold because they have coin for shorterm and longterm. Longterm means to me holding for few years.

I gave up daily trading because I don't have enough experience to feel the market. I examined charts and opinions, tried to get info 24/7 but it's so complicated and not rationalized, that it seemed more of playing sport stakes. I'm not that lucky to play that, so long-term is just easier and not that risky
Well in this case, I think you make your mind understand of the fact that you haven’t left day trading just because of no experience. Experience isn’t any trait or quality that somebody have and somebody don’t. No, rather it is a practical result that comes with time. But yes, there is no doubt that day trading is quite complicated and hard task that isn’t easy and compatible for everyone.

Trading is indeed difficult to do.

Long term trading may take weeks, months or even a year or so. You may call it as "long-term holding" or simply "holding".

Long-term trading is good for those who:

    • want to invest
    • has a job that requires at least 8 hours a day
    • want to earn extra income
    • non professional traders or beginners

But of course you will have to consider these things before investing:

    • invest money that does not limit your ability to meet other financial needs
    • should be willing to lose some
    • higher investment, more risky and higher potential of loses and/or rewards

These are the benefits of long-term trading according Anne Chapman (2015):

    • You are not required to find new opportunities every time. Just hold on the coins you believe has a potential. Do not bother yourself with other cryptocurrency focus on your work and family.
    • You have more time to plan and study the charts for analysis of trend
    • You only need to employ simple techniques.

First, identify major areas of support/resistance (does a trend have room to develop?

Second, look for chart/candlestick patterns (do they reinforce a trend continuation?)

Finally, look for a logical and high probability point of entry and manage the trade

    • You will experience less stress since you do not have to monitor the charts, price, trend etc. every time.
    • You only have to work less. Check your coin in a month or weekly basis, etc

    Thank you.

Long term is strategy for people who only have money but don't have time to do analyze and calculate everything. This method is using by most people who like challenge and can see opportunity in future. They only need to listen, do and face the result. Loss or win it doesn't matter but working system is the main purposes. I like this strategy but not have enough patience.

Make sure you have more experience in trading or investing in the cryptocurrency market. As I think new entrants to the market and they choose the coin is not very potential, their investment is quite risky and risky. So, I think for long term investment you have to have the abundant experience and the skills required for a professional investor.

long term trading is very risky and at the same time you need to be more patient. long term trading does not guarantee that the trading will be a success but if it it success the pay or the outcome is very worth it.

daily trading need more skill and lucky than long-term trading bro. maybe you can make 5-10% per day just because we have a good market. if you back 2-3 years ago you will see
Well it is very true according to my experience as we earn very high with long term trading then we earn from day trading, as we know about bitcoin market it use to rise and fall so falling price gives you opportunity to buy very low and then market use to rise gradually instantly it never get high at once so I think if you will go for long term there will be more chances for earning as according to research profit percentage of long term is 50% higher than day traders.

Yes long term trading is a good way to earn me without hassle. Because you can buy a coin at its dump, after you can leave and didnt take a look day by day. Just do what you want and after a while visit the price and hopefully it will double or triple your investment. Long trading is good for an individual who had no time do or be full time in crypto
I think you should not choose long-term trading at this moment, the market is showing signs of uptrend in the recent period, but according to my analysis, this is just uptrend in the short term, in terms of long-term bitcoin prices are still in the bear market. So long term trade will certainly bring you very high risk.

I think choosing a long-term trading or investment can be a good choice if you want to have a less stress and work less which is more applicable if you have your own stable job and having crypto trading is just a part time one.And even those who are beginners in the crypto market,long-term trading is also preferable since it does not require more skills unlike day trader should have.

Personally i would love to choose long term trading also because it doesn’t demand time to watch market fluctuations all the time. It won’t affect my daily routine and schedules i used to do, only the time will bring you to profit earning, as the time goes by your money invested in longterm trading will surely reap profits

Yes, you are right, bro. Long-term trading does not require much time. Day trading does. However, these days, when the market is not so very much stable, I have started to think exactly about the second option.

Long term trading is for those coins that has a big capacity to enter into long term and most of it are those who are in the top 20, you can choose between them, it is okay to make a long term trading especially if you don't have much of your time to watch over the price of a certain coin.

Actually long term trading/ holding is good for people who does not know how to trade.

Just like investing they can just sell it when they think the profit is enough.

Also with this strategy you do not need to worry about price dips/crash because history shows that Bitcoin/stable coins will rise in the future.

This trading strategy is what i am  currently using since i have a daily job and I don't have time to monitor crypto market for day or short trade and you are right that long term strategy don't need to monitor daily your coin and how current trend for market condition is. though the profit is not as big as day trade it is also less stress and time to monitor.

For most that don't know how to daily trade long term trade would be the best so as to avoid always buying the pump and selling the dip

In recent times, the market behavior is highly unpredictable. I would advise everyone not to get into a position on bitcoin, but to wait a little, soon it will be clear where the main currency will go.
