As announced in the mid-August newsletter, I had to step back from comms to deal with IRL work. Cryptozark is handling comms at present.

Yes, Lesoros, thank you. That translation is forthcoming. Creating initiatives for Earthcoin Greece is important because Greece suffered so terribly in the recession. We want to send a strong message that this is a critical place where the original fiat-based economy failed and people really paid the price. We are developing Earthcoin innovations to answer some of those local problems; other regional Earthcoin teams can point to Earthcoin Greece and develop Earthcoin projects to target local problems elsewhere.

I would like to remind the community that the Earthcoin Mission Group, which I developed, addresses the coin's highest priorities and original mission statement in terms of focusing this coin on real world sustainable development. It is established in the private forums of Earthcointalk.

Hi there,
4 days ago I put 5 buy orders at 2 sat on Crypsty. What I find strange is that I got served today for 4 of my 5 orders and only partially. Alltogether I received less than 1% of the total amount I wanted to buy.
I thought that it would work like on stock exchange and once your first buy order was being hit, it would be fully served before going to the following buy order that has been put at a later time. It's supposed to work in a chronological way, but obviously not on Crypsty... Any idea how it works? Whatever their system, it seems unfair to me when I see buy orders bypassing my buy orders and serving others putting their orders after mine.
I can't see other exchanges to trade (buy) earthcoin, do you know any others?
If anyone can come up with any tips on how I can buy Earthcoin other than on Crypsty's I would really appreciate.
Sorry for my English if that doesn't seem clear to you.

they have not decided on the block reward yet, you can be sure it will be while longer yet.

I bought many earthcoins today, but I had to buy them at 3 sat cause I believe there is manipulation on the order book at Cryptsy's. Couldn't get many at 2 sat. After a week waiting on the buy order list I only was partly served.
Only reason why this coin goes so low is because all miners are dumping them. We just have to wait for the news now Wink
Strange that no one talks about it in this forum.

The miners sell the EAC immediately, they need to pay the electric bill.As the block payout is 8700 EAC,to mine a day, totally are 8700*60*24=12,528,000 EAC.Now the EAC/BTC is 3 satoshi , the BTC/USD is $430 ,need about $161.61 one day to support the mined block

1.Because people realized theres no use to buy Alt currency other than Litecoin
2.Cryptsy is now always lagging, slow, than other exchange (and people abandoning it)
3.Alt coin other than Litecoin only have 2 use : mine and dump
4.Congratulations, you just dumped your BTC or whatever you use to buy EAC.

- Couple longg months ago i said NXT and BitShares X will be big, and EAC should try to use PoS or follow their 'format' ,and my 'prediction' is true now.

Lol. You obviously hate earthcoin for some reason, but you keep posting most of your posts in this thread. Strange behaviour to say the least.  Smiley

I have had the same problem. I have orders at 2 sat that I made in july and they still did not go through while more recent orders did. I opened a ticket at Cryptsy but had no decent answer. I suggest you do the same. The more people react, the more eager they will be to find a solution.

I have done it already. I came to the conclusion that they are the ones to make money out of it as they can easily manipulate the orders and sell at 3 sat when the market offers them this option.
It's the same manipulation that they do with the triggers which are equivalent to stop loss. If you look at Vericoin graph you'd see on the 27th August the price go at 5000 sat. without any reason, and not on the others exchanges. It's only because they know where the triggers are and they will put a buy order at 50% less to get the cheap coins. That happened also on the 12th of September and a couple of times before that for a lesser spread.
My advise is to not put any triggers on Crypsty as they are going to rip you off.

I contacted them again today and they denied every malicious intention. I have been hammering on this issue for weeks now, as well to the support desk as in the chatroom. They told me (I had a mail from Big Vern himself) that the bug was fixed today. I hope it is true.  Can you let me know if it happens again? I will pay attention to it too.

Do you guys know about the Supernet project? Check it out.
Earthcoin is in the initial phase of chosen coins. https://nxtforum.org/umgwc/team-apollo/msg101949/#msg101949
https://multigateway.org/#sec_coins
Check out also on James, aka jl777. Here you have an audio interview of that amazing guy at +39': http://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/beyond-bitcoin-13-one-to-rule-them-all
He has teams of developpers working for him and Earthoin could be implemented in the Multigateway that he created.
That's the only reason I bought more than 100 millions Earthcoin lately and i will buy more if it stays at this level of price. Smiley
This James is so trusted that some invested thousands of Bitcoins to get tokens for investing into the stucture this guy is building.
