My username is belleck@... I've also emailed from (gmailaddr) Ragnarohlsson.
I login with my username and password and try do initiate a payout to my wallet (note: the wallet is the SAME wallet I used when I registered the account back in 2011 and it is the SAME wallet I've previously done payout to). The payout page says I need to check my email for confirmation. But.. my email hosting provider has SHUT DOWN, that is COMPLETELY OUT OF MY CONTROL. Help your customer, fix the email confirmation. You dont have to change the email since I know you cant. Problem solved. Please note that I recommend disabling autopayment in your case because it will only send 1.60 BTC, leaving 0.00661881 there. Instead you can request a manual payment, copying the entire amount to the request form this evening, when hot wallet will be refilled. THANK YOU!! You can keep the 0.00661881 BTC as a tip. It took some time but I did get support, thats the spirit deepbit!

I read through a couple of posts and I see that a lot of people have the same problems.
I tried the instant payout, but is says : Wait for autopayment I waited for autopayment already 5 days, but it is not happening...
If I try to make an instant payout a second time I just get 504 Gateway Timeouts. Why???
My wallet address is still the same everything is correct, so please make it happen that I get my mined coins, or at least tell me what to do in order to get it.
Thx
BTW: I agree to last post. I never had problems here and I will start mining again soon. I talk about 7TH I can provide soon, and I guess thats something, please contact me for details if you are interested.

deepbit used to get lots of blocks. as i recall, all the payments were done in-house (for 0 fee). since deepbit doesnt get any blocks anymore, no payments are sent

They Found a BLOCK TONIGHT
Not according to Deepbit. Blockchain.info still likes to say blocks came from Deepbit when they haven't. Last I heard, it's been many months since Deepbit actually solved a block. At its current speed, the average time for blocks is something like 18 months.

If 300 GHs found 31 blocks then my 30 GHs would have found 3 block. I haven't found any blocks.

Blockchain.info is saying 31 blocks in the last 4 days
And if you read what I wrote, I addressed that. Blockchain.info defaults a TON of IPs to Deepbit even though they have absolutely nothing to do with them. It's because blockchain.info's block assignment system is garbage and makes assumptions based on times where Deepbit used to be 20-40% of the network.

They had their opportunity when they were the biggest. The suspicious way the admins repeatedly avoid any discussions about modernising the pool suggested to me ages ago they had no interest in keeping up and are quite happy to let it quietly die off. They made enough BTC from the days it was the biggest and only reliable pool and were charging the highest fees.

It is still unclear why kill a business, that can bring much more dividends or can be sold for a lot of money. To me it is like killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

I'm not entirely sure why either. Historically when this pool was bigger, changes were always very hard to come by and it was very conservative in adopting them, which of course did actually add to its stability since everything worked - but they were the last to adopt change. Heck they didn't even have ntime-roll support for the longest time, relying on sheer brute force of generating unique work items for each miner based on the vast amount of server power they had thrown at it, which no one else could afford at the time. Once pools started to move to stratum, there was no sign this pool was going to join in, and then about 6 months after the first ASICs appeared and every serious remaining pool was using stratum, Tycho briefly asked a question about stratum implementation on the stratum thread which was the only sign he was interested, but it never eventuated. By that time this pool had become nigh on irrelevant and perhaps they assumed the stratum thing wouldn't be required, or that multi-TH machines wouldn't exist or whatever, but that proved wrong. Perhaps by that time the mega amounts of BTC they'd accumulated made the prospect of having to refashion the pool and maintain a whole new infrastructure proved uninteresting as a "job" for lesser rewards than they'd already made. You'll note they skilfully address any actual issues with the pool, responding eventually to support queries, but continuing avoiding responding to any of these discussions or desperate pleas for modernising the pool. The smug way they responded to people almost demanding they upgrade or charge lower fees slowly stopped new members from joining and existing members were forced to move on. I originally watched that behaviour in amusement and never said anything, but it has been over a year since ASICs hit and the pattern has been steadfast. Perhaps more notable members of the community speaking up will make them respond... or not. I might also add, a lot of the pool hashrate used to be coming from Russia and China and were probably "deals" which are irrelevant today.
