It looks like Deepbit has been changing difficulties between the last difficulty and the current one.
I ran a little 24 hr test.  With 6 Block Erupters, I got 0.065 BTC with btcmp.  With deepbit, I got 0.025.

24 hours of testing isn't even close to enough, especially when evaluating a smaller pool (which Deepbit would be classified as these days).  It takes -months- for variance to level out on a small pool, and you can end up way ahead or way behind at any point in time.

Hiya guys recently moved my 4 miners to Deepbit but i have a problem i hope someone can help solve as for me its a big issue. Half the time i control my Miners in the summer via remote desktop from my PC and also my iPhone. But where the problem comes in when switching to this pool is the app i have called BTCmon that usually shows the speed of each miner on other pools but for some reason it only shows miners running or not. The reason this is such a big deal is i push all my 7970's as far as they can go and every now and then a driver will crash and i can instantly tell using BTCmon then remote access real fast ,reboot and start mining again. I currently have 8 cards running so depending on temp changes etc 1 can drop at any time.

Now i explained my problem is there anything i can do or use to monitor my miners besides just knowing they are on as this can make or break me staying with deepbit which i am starting to rather enjoy although i do wish it was merged with NMC also but cant win them all.

 Please help

 Thanks MybadOmen

Sounds to me like you need to contact the author of your app so that you can see the hashrate.

Also you can enable email notifications for your workers when they are down.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Hello. Our API is providing good amount of information about running workers so I can recommend you asking the author of your monitoring software about this.
I know that most monitoring programs support Deepbit correctly, but never tried that one, sorry.

Anyone having trouble logging into website? Login page loads for me, but after entering username/pass I get a 502 bad gateway error

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

The problem still persists or it was just a short interruption ?

(now waiting for a new block to be found before starting)

for how long time is the maintenance going on?

Edit: Maintenance ended now

This situation is explained on the help page shown after performing manual payment request.
You will receive your coins when this TX will get at least one confirmation.

Hello, there are people who are cheating in DeepBit, connects after the first reward and so does not leave the miners alone all the time so some time getting the rewards of the day and then Logging Out until the next day, eliminating consumption without reward or by switching server pool.

I think it should of to see more control.

Answered LOTS of times already. Blockchain.info is publishing incorrect data about block's origin.

Maybe think about signing the coinbase?

There are reasons to not sign the coinbase:

1) They have something to hide (ripping off the miners)

2) Their pool payment algorithm allows people to abuse this fact ... however this argument is drivel coz it's not too difficult to determine the DeepBit blocks to a high level of accuracy, just not 100%

3) It's too difficult for them to program it

4) ... ASIC doesn't exist ... oh wait - wrong question Tongue

Is there any reason not to broadcast the transactions without fees? I don't personally care if Deepbit mines my payment or someone else does it. It would also avoid the transaction not showing up relatively quickly for people looking for instant gratification and there's still no fee unless the pool wants to pay it. If no one else picks it up Deepbit can still mine it too so no lack of control. If the transaction hash is generated at the same time payment is requested the coins are already sitting there ready to pay out. So what's the downside? Or what's the rationale for this even? Maybe some brownie points and looking cool while it was a big pool, but waiting "several hours" before the transaction is even visible is a bit of a pain.

All transactions are broadcasted instantly at the moment of payment, but many nodes deny relaying low-priority TXes if fee is less than 0.0001 BTC - that's why sometimes you can't see your unconfirmed TX at blockchain.info
I'll think about adding some option to include fees.

Signing the coinbase would identify blocks from Deepbit without any overhead. Detection from blockchain.info et all would be dead simple. I'm personally not sure why you don't want your blocks to be easily identified and don't particularly care that they're often incorrectly identified.

Is there any reason not to broadcast the transactions without fees? I don't personally care if Deepbit mines my payment or someone else does it. It would also avoid the transaction not showing up relatively quickly for people looking for instant gratification and there's still no fee unless the pool wants to pay it. I know personally I'm fine with no fee since I'd assume it would come out of my cash (and rightfully so). I wasn't sure if the payment tx was being broadcast at all or just held for inclusion in the next block. And while it would change the tx and tx id, why not rebroadcast the transaction to include all payments outbound (automatic and manual) that haven't confirmed yet to increase their priority? Might be harder to implement though.
