They could do a better job of setting expectations about when they will be back, then i wouldn't have worn out the refresh button on twitter waiting for an update.

That's the main part that pisses me off.  I feel trolled.

I fully expected there to be legal problems at some point, which is looking like what happened.  Who knows, though, when we get nothing but bullshit from the site itself.

exactly, I just didn't sugar coat it not saying mule did. More then pissed off at expecting the site to come back soon but having to find out the truth from another forum.

You also have to consider that they really aren't in a position to put these things out there publicly right now...especially if is it problems with the DOJ for example.

They are being very accommodating as far as letting people cash out...I was missing 485 chips from my account that were on the table when the site went down...I emailed Hdev and he credited them to my account and I was able to cash them out no problem.

Obviously I'm not happy the site is down and I would like to know exactly what's going on...but the way they've handled the cashouts makes me believe there is a legit reason they aren't just coming out and saying exactly what's going on yet.

Everyone understands with regard to legal problems which is why could have said due to legal complications and unforseen circumstances seals had to be taken down instead of what was said. Even if they said due to unforseen circumstances instead of saying will be back soon because of hardware problems it doesn't sit well.

I agree, the fact that "hardware" problems were thrown as the root cause of the problem is whats troubling. Leaving players in the dark (telling them its a hardware problem) and figuring out Micon has gone to Antigua, and is playing $3 Spin N Go's doesn't piece together well.

I predict that when and IF the site goes back online. Many will withdraw their money and go somewhere else. This is taking WAY too long.
I know I will be.  Assuming it does come back online.

Well the withdrawls are also active, you can do that now. Indeed been taking a long time. I don't see why would it take so much time. Might be that the developer is on vacation or something

SwC was the best bitcoin poker site but now we need to look for other places to play...

You can try:

https://www.bitstarz.com

http://www.k8poker.net

Also I hear pokerstars will soon accept bitcoin for deposits! Would be great!

Haha I would rather look at the two more established sites:

https://nitrogensports.eu

https://poker.betcoin.ag/

What the hell is bitstarz anyway? Do they even have poker?

Seems Bitstars doesn't have poker, but has games like Video Poker.
as for the other site, no one would go and play on any random site.

No idea what's going on now... but I do believe that the initial problem was unplanned and hardware related.

When the main site went down the beta site was still up and hdev was in the lobby talking about what happened.

Can't remember details exactly, but it was some kind of hardware failure and he was still trying to figure it out.

Just looked into both of them

Betcoin has a fucking retarded tournament structure. Literally every tournament allows you to rebuy/register up to 2 hours in, meaning there isn't anything small you can play on for an hour or two. Nitro looks nice but there is a very low playerbase.

The posters on that other site with the Antigua stuff are obsessed with Micon to the point of posting images of Micon's losses at Stars. Yet none of them has posted anything indicating that he has screwed them in any way.  They could jealous or anti Semite. As they keep mentioning Micon's Jewish nose.
Although the path he has chosen is bizzare to us  not  knowing why, I do give him credit for making good on all the deposits so far, which is unheard of for online poker sites busting out.

So either Micon is a very honest person or he has something up his sleeve that benefits by him making good to all seals players.
Stay tune and buy some popcorn.

Cashed out and hope my chips reach my address. If not no big deal it was like 3 dollars. Pretty much done with seals as you can see in my signature change.
