Hey Zecko, I'm the reason you were on Seals to begin with as I helped you in the beginning when you were having issues. Many people find you annoying but I always showed you love I didn't say you were wrong and didn't mean to imply it. I was just giving my opinion because it was different. Hare Krishna makes some great chocolate cookies nowadays If somebody would be so kind as to quote this in case donk4u actually has me on ignore, ty.

What difference does it make where micon is or what he does with his $3?
I expect transparency when there is an issue that affects my money....i don't expect transparency into issues that affect SWC, which operates in a legal gray area.
They could do a better job of setting expectations about when they will be back, then i wouldn't have worn out the refresh button on twitter waiting for an update.
They ain't coming back . NOt any time soon if ever Its micons site. He has the right to close it down whenever he wants especially if feels the heat from the doj or whatever. I don't appreciate being lied to and having to find out from another forum that he has left the country and its way more then a hardware problem . I don't appreciate having to find this out from another forum instead of the owners of the site and being openly lied to but thats just me. I am doubtful that whoever owns the site would put up the money to have poker software developed all the way from the ground up to usable beta and then abandon it entirely. I've seen people walk away from bigger/more expensive projects, but if so, it's a strong level. I would expect it to be sold at the very least. I don't see any hard evidence that Micon outright lied (yet?). I don't recall any moratoriums on leaving the country or playing on Stars. It is a pretty big hardware problem if you think the feds are on the way to seize your hardware. Also, to play devil's advocate, I would guess that most professional poker players have extra pages in their passports. I doubt he knows which end of a soldering iron to use, so he's not really needed on site during hardware-related downtime. Why not take the fam on a little vacay to a tax shelter while the devs bust their asses? I bet he's up to Sly Medallion status on most airlines, and probably has a few krill to burn. P.S. to sigmasquared: you should have sold yer account at BTC $800 brah...

I predict that when and IF the site goes back online. Many will withdraw their money and go somewhere else. This is taking WAY too long.

That's the main part that pisses me off. I feel trolled. I fully expected there to be legal problems at some point, which is looking like what happened. Who knows, though, when we get nothing but bullshit from the site itself.

More then pissed off at expecting the site to come back soon but having to find out the truth from another forum.

If the situations were reversed and you had been remotely upfront about what kinds of legal problems were going down and that the site was going to be down for weeks or more, your lawyer would have slapped you upside the head (followed shortly by your wife and accountant). I'm sure the DOJ would love to have an accurate uptime estimate so they can stop refreshing, too.

You also have to consider that they really aren't in a position to put these things out there publicly right now...especially if is it problems with the DOJ for example. They are being very accommodating as far as letting people cash out...I was missing 485 chips from my account that were on the table when the site went down...I emailed Hdev and he credited them to my account and I was able to cash them out no problem. Obviously I'm not happy the site is down and I would like to know exactly what's going on...but the way they've handled the cashouts makes me believe there is a legit reason they aren't just coming out and saying exactly what's going on yet.

We don't have much information, but government-enforced protectionism cannot be ruled out.

Everyone understands with regard to legal problems which is why could have said due to legal complications and unforseen circumstances seals had to be taken down instead of what was said. Even if they said due to unforseen circumstances instead of saying will be back soon because of hardware problems it doesn't sit well.

I agree, the fact that "hardware" problems were thrown as the root cause of the problem is whats troubling. Leaving players in the dark (telling them its a hardware problem) and figuring out Micon has gone to Antigua, and is playing $3 Spin N Go's doesn't piece together well.

I know I will be. Assuming it does come back online. Well the withdrawls are also active, you can do that now. Indeed been taking a long time. I don't see why would it take so much time. Might be that the developer is on vacation or something
