1)  wow, what a BIG BTC today!
2)  apologies for not pushing it harder.  This time of year is always busy, but even more so this year with our new platform about to be released
3)  tyvm to everyone who went hard for "Decked out December" - I'll get the data when it's fully over, but I loved seeing SwC packed with players the past few weeks - I think we are going to do similar promos in the future, given how well you guys responded to this one.  Any feedback on the events please feel free to post it here or email me micon@sealswithclubs.eu or tell glitch in-game.
4)  I cannot stress enough how big we are going to go in 2015.  Stay tuned.
5)  From all of us at SwC, we'd like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our loyal Seals.  Unlike most other bullshit organizations that send that type of msg without any real emotion behind it, SwC is still a close-nit hard working group that very much values your poker action.  By playing at SwC you allow us to work our dream job.  As a team, we can't wait to drop the 2.0 software on you.  We can't wait to mold online poker into something better than it is today.  We will stay true to our ethos of "No banking, only bitcoin" and our general principal of "always making it right"

A sincere "thank you" from a group of humans that truly appreciate your patronage.

Hey Micon,

Just want to shout out that I'm looking forward to the 2015 revamp for SwC and want to wish you all luck. It's probably been quite a work in progress for the team.

Since SwC is a close, growing community, my impression is that seals/players would be willing to put in time and effort to help improve their site. You could definitely ask the community of players to contribute ideas and content for 2015. Here's one idea that may or may not interest you:

Design Contest for deck designs, table interface designs, avatar and chip designs, etc.

- Winning submissions could be awarded in chips and their designs implemented in the desktop client (either optional or not).

You'd have to specify image dimensions and file formats that your team works with tho.

Just some thoughts from a new seal.

Inaba: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=8198

Hes the owner of BFL, the butterfly labs mining company which scammed many users and led to other mining companies arising that turned out only to be scams themselves as well. In addition, Inaba tried retaliating and paying people to leave negative trust on accounts he didn't like. Obviously he now has the lowest trust rate on the forum.

Oh yah, the BFL guy certainly has become quite unpopular Smiley

@Micon, I think it may be worth checking for alts in these DOD rolls, someone admitted to me in chat that he was running like 10 players.  I just mention this with respect to the "response" you're seeing to the promo.  But, still, thanks for the promo and it has certainly been fun Smiley

With respect to the new software, I'm hoping that if there's no support for a particular platform at launch---(android, GNU/linux) that we'll be able to continue to use the old software---so that those of us who don't run windoze won't have to rever to playing with flash in the browser.

Happy new year!

love these ideas.  The goal is to have something skinnable.  The 2.0 product has the ability built in, it's a feature we will release some time after launch.

Have there been any plans of adding OFC in the new version?

Yes, it will be there shortly.  I know many wanna fire at it, myself included Smiley

Also:

I just logged in and loaded up the "Trivia bot" which is a thing now in SwC chat.  This is one of those features that pops up that gives me that "wow, this is the coolest project ever" feeling.

come in for some extra free chips on top of all the other free chips SwC shoots out!

Smiley

Yah, trivia bot is pretty fun.

I had a hillarious laugh when the question was "On Star Trek SNG, who is Picard's 'Number One'?".  Man, every form and full name for Riker was given, but Trivia bot said "times up" because it only accepted "commander riker".  Funny.  Also, you pretty much have to be at a keyboard to play the trivia, touchscreen typing isn't going to cut it.
