I only made the withdrawal like an hour ago, didn't get it yet but that seems normal. I have seen many people (here and 2p2) getting their money within few hours, so no worries at all. I was a bit lazy to do it before, but just makes no sense to keep money at a site that's down, that's all

50k krill roll tomorrow!
how would you know that with seals down? Maybe he does what I did. I put all the krill rolls in Google Calendar, with email and phone reminders so I don't miss them! Yes, that just about sums it up. 150k krill roll is on March 03.

Yah, I'm glad they're still processing payments but I'm a little sad they aren't telling us why they're down.

I really like SWC, and will probably spend hundreds more hours playing there in the future. That said, they have terrible customer relations at the moment. If they would have at least hinted at what the problem is when the site first went down it would have saved me and many others hundreds of 'twitter refreshes'. I don't want to miss a downtime freeroll or the 5k krillroll so I've been refreshing their twitter about every hour for the last week. Tell us wtf went wrong! Sure, you can't give an ETA, but like many people have requested on twitter over the past week: will it be a day, a week, a month?!
What kind of failure do you guys think takes a week to fix?

I agree. The mysterious way that they are handling this is not doing them any favor. If Stars or WPN did something like this the shit would hit the fan. Seals feels their niche fan base is so loyal they do not have to inform them of anything. It is what it is so tell the players so they can make an informed decision and not waste timing going to twitter 3 or 4 times a day.

I am starting to agree that "no ETA" is really not cool to use if you're going to be down for over a week. If you're hoping to be back up within 24 hours, then no ETA seems fine. If you figure it's going to most likely be longer than 24 hours, you should at least let folks know that it will be longer than 24 hours (most likely) so that, like you said, they don't have to keep checking back.

Now that my work week is down to only 55 hrs I once again have time for Seals but Seals doesn't have time for me I actually like their software because unlike most others available in the US it doesn't put me on tilt. My btc remains there.

Agreed they knew damn well this was going to be a long drawn out process. Why direct players to keep checking twitter updates when nothing to check because there is no info? Why not just say seals is going to be down for the unforeseeable future we will update every couple of days.

Why not just say seals is going to be down for the unforeseeable future we will update every couple of days. IMO if they are going to keep saying "check twitter feeds, we will keep you updated" they sure as hell better keep us updated. A sentence every few days (which isn't even related to giving us info on how much longer it will be most of the time) is NOT keeping us updated! I kept my BTC in seals this whole time but I'm about ready to withdraw and put it towards something else.

May as well withdrawal since (1) they have that available to you and (2) you deserve to do what you please with your btc. Especially with no ETA, I'd withdraw if I had any decent amount of chips on there.

Dude... withdraw your bitcoins. You always deposit back later when/if they get back online. You have no idea why they are down, if you're unlucky this might turn mtgox on everyone with bitcoins still in there.

I doubt it will be like that but I do agree with the advice: withdraw your bitcoins.

So when seals get licensed in Antigua and becomes a regulated site does that in fact mean I can't call people niggers anymore in chat? This will probably cause much angst in odeano as well.

Are you African American? Irrelevant. donk4u has Tourette's. It's a medical condition and he can't help it, ditto quaz0r.
