Sorry I am new to poker online with BTC. What are the competitors of SealsWithClubs ?
There are no competitors seals has a monopoly on the bitcoin poker market. Any other sites are wanabes with no player base and shoddy support . Betcoin one of seals closest poker competitiors is a perferct example of this. THe others that where around like poker dominicano and satoshi poker were fly by night scam artists. I would restate it corrected. There are no Major competitors of SealswithClubs. It is probably the oldest and has the biggest player base. All other sites, which have attempted to offer poker, have failed to build up a big player base. However, other sites like Nitrogensports and BetCoinPoker do offer bitcoin poker, but might not have a big player base. Agree with the restatement ...but would add: if you are a sng/mtt players then consider Betcoinpoker because they share their sng/mtt schedule and playerpool with Winning Poker Network

Yes but for MTTs those other sites, including the btc sites betcoin and nitrogen, charge twice the rake of Seals. And as already stated for btc cash games there is really only Seals.

What does Seals do incase of a server problem while games are on? Incase of an MTT, does it refund the buy in amount, or does it refund the amount based on the chip stacks? Apparently, Stars just went down ,had a server issue, and I have over 4 tournaments running and was doing well

That's what happens before the money is reached. Once people are in the money a formula is used for payouts. Each site has a set procedure that you can find out by contacting them.

ITM stars is using the following formula: Currentpayout + Remaining pricepool * (yourchips/totalchips)
That is pretty unfair if you know you have an edge, but is the most fair method for the average player.

Will not open in my android phone.
I use the seals android app all the time and love it. Download the app directly from the seals site - you will have to check the box in your android settings under security to allow "unknown sources". Once you open the app, I prefer to go to app settings and change the Game Mode to Simple and the Mulittable mode to Tiled. I also use the four colored deck so it's easier to see what you're holding when you are mulittabling, as the cards can appear very small. To get btc, first go to blockchain.info or similar and set up a wallet, so you have a btc address to deposit to. Then set up an account at coinbase or circle so you can buy at a lower price - but it takes a few days to set up and get your coins. Otherwise you can use a service like localbitcoins.com or bitquick.co to get btc faster but you will pay a little more. Buy your btc and deposit your coins into your blockchain wallet, then transfer the coins you want to play with from your wallet to your Seals deposit address, which appears on your My Account page. They should show up there in a few hours max and you are ready to fire. GL!

Agree with the restatement ...but would add: if you are a sng/mtt players then consider Betcoinpoker because they share their sng/mtt schedule and playerpool with Winning Poker Network Betcoin poker rushed to get its product onlilne without offering proper encryption of passwords then denied there was a problem . Betcoin had problems reimbursing people on canceled tourneys and on coversion rates from betcoin to usd were found not to be correct with players being shortchanged on the conersions. The tournaments for normal stake grrinders are a poor option due to the fact that there are 4 hour renentry which dillutes the prize pool up to 20 dollar buyins. There are many payouts with less then the buyin amount which is absurd to me. Rentrys for 4 hours with an abysmal payout structures. The 50 dollar to 200 tourneys have good value as people aren't for the most part going to renter non stop. Nitrogen sports while having an outstanding sportsbook that I would highly reccomend has a horrific poker platform. To be fair Nitrogen just launched its poker room . It is horrible flash based . You can't pick seat you want to be positioned in during a game. THey don't have auto top up you have to top up manually which is absurd and the amount of time to place bet is insufficent along with not being able to place bets smoothly with their slider . They don't designate sitouts during their tournaments. Nitrogen making strides , finally added auto top up. Seals also had encryption problems but acknowledged and fixed the problems instead of ignoring like betcoin did. Betcoin does have good freerolls as does nitrogen sports. Nitrogen has done nothing in a couple of months to fix the most glaring problems and doesn't seem as if poker is a top priority for nitrogen. THe sportsbook on Nitrogen is top notch. There has not been in 2 years 1 poker site offering bitcoin poker that has been worthwhile or worth the effort of depositing. I am hoping nitrogen gets theirr act together. If they had a poker room that was up to par with their sportsbook would be a force. Anyway this is a seals thread not really appropriate to discuss competitors imo. I just chimed in because the competitors to date have been laughable compared to seals. I do wish seals go rid of the mavens rng. I would feel a lot better if the rng was accredited somehow. Donkdown~I enjoyed the call ins from players last week way more then ideological banter. After all we are all here to play poker more call ins please.
