Yippee, I finally won.
What did you win? A poker game? Yep, I suck at poker. I was shocked when I won. lol I can identify with this. However, one of the fun things about poker is that randomization sometimes acts like a great equalizer. Even the "great" players lose to a "noob" who doesn't know shit when the odds say so.

Odds are based on many millions of repetitions. It takes 100 million minimum to even out an odd. Therefore the "odds" in poker, especially playing a small set of hands (under 100k at a time) are absolutely meaningless and aren't even close to what you'd experience over millions of repetitions. This is why poker is more about psychology than statistics.

That happens mostly when you shove preflpp or the flop with the best odds. But in the long term shouldn't matter

Micon, while I'm thinking about it... are there any plans (or can I make a request) to add in a "remember password" feature? It's a bit irritating to keep having to input my password, especially when I'm in an area with bad Internet as it skips on/off a lot and I keep having to put in the password or just copy/paste it.

Hi, I can't login to my SWC account because I keep on getting the "Incorrect Google Authenticator code" message. For months I've been using 2FA and there were never any issues. Lately I would get incorrect code messages from time to time (I think mostly if the code in the application was closer to switch to the next one) but today for many hours I just can't login and keep on getting the error. For a while now even before I ever had issues with 2FA on SWC my CoinKite 2FA stopped working and till now I can't seem to get it working again. I'm pretty sure there's a Sync issue between my iPhone (5s, iOS and the Google Auth servers. The iPhone app doesn't have any Sync/Update button but I tried messing with my timezones and rebooting my iPhone, but nothing helps. 1) How can I reset my password/2FA on SWC? I have an E-mail address attached to my account. 2) Any idea how I can fix this? I was thinking to reinstall the Google Auth app but I'm pretty sure that will make me lose the current connection between it an SWC so I don't want to do that yet. Thanks a lot

To fix having to put your password in when you lose connection for a second you can go to Options -> Connection Options -> Auto Login on D/C It only works if you're able to reconnect within a short time, but it's better than nothing. Thanks for the trick, wasn't aware of it. Most of my disconnects are for a few seconds. It'd still be nice to not have to copy/paste or type in passwords to log in though. Especially if you're playing while mobile.

4) tyvm tspacepilot for recognizing this. In a sea of "THIS IS TAKING TOO LONG" emails, it's nice to see a long time user draw attention to the multi-year history of cashout consistency.
You're welcome very much. FWIW, I"m a long time but super-small stakes player who almost never cashes out. Nevertheless you're right that I'm a long-timer and that I keep my eye on these sorts of things. I hope you guys live forever!

Some people just aren't attentive or want to stroke their ego. I was in a freeroll, 3 of us left on round 2. One was AFK the entire time so the other guy kept going all-in every hand. I finally get AA so I call him and lose to like 3/7os that hit a straight or something, so he and the AFK dude went to the final table (ITM). And he said I should have just kept folding every hand (I was below the AFK guy in chips so I'd have been knocked out). Some people are just dicks.

Depends on the site. They make their main money from the rake on cash games and less from tourneys. However on fiat poker sites like pokerstars, they charge 10% of the tournament entry fees as their fees, which imo is A LOT. But I think, pokerstars gets most of its money from tournaments only.

Thanks a lot Try emailing support from the address you have attached to your account. Pretty sure they've been able to help people with that problem before. Thanks for your reply. This is the response I have received from their support: "Others have solved your issue by syncing up, but I'm not sure how to tell you to do that. Otherwise, you'll have to reinstall google authorization, and that involves a two-week (potentially shortened to one week if you can answer identity verification questions) to one week." Not happy about it and have E-mailed back asking for a quicker solution. If anyone can help me fix this synching issue I'll gladly send them some chips.

That he raised by only 3k all-in and the guy with 60k+ folded? If collusion is a too much strong word, then lets call it softplay or whatever you like but...seems obvious to me. But consider I'm throwing my opinion just by this two hands and not knowing anyone of the players involved, their history against each other and many other things I may miss here

But consider I'm throwing my opinion just by this two hands and not knowing anyone of the players involved, their history against each other and many other things I may miss here If you were the giant stack here... would you want the bubble to break? I wouldn't. The narrative presented is that the innocent Donk4u has been "colluded" against, and he made a heroic comeback against the Goliath team out to destroy him, and now he is on a quest for justice. What is missing, aside from the fact that it's impossible to collude sitting across the table and the voluminous reasons to fold there, is that while 10 handed, with 5 players at two tables, he very blatantly stalled, which actually is illegal according to site rules. He claimed to have been going, very coincidentally, to the bathroom, and was not stalling. This despite it being two hands after a five-minute break. I too have to take piss breaks, but I could hold it when the individual hand contains that much more value. And regardless of reason for missed time, stalling, whether intentional or not, is not an arbitrary distinction to be made online. Live-players hands are folded when they run to the bathroom. In this case, Donk4u Had to press the Extra Time Button, because he ran off 57 seconds (+15 regular time) before folding, preflop. This is a stall, in the bathroom or not. The reality is, I had no part of something bad happening to Donk4u, which had a positive effect for him in the long-run, and he still has to turn the speakers all the way up, for days and days, so to speak. It's hypocritical, and he knows it.
