Wow! There's a lot of people playing. I was surprised to see over 300 people online! That's amazing to see a poker community like this flourishing. I'll be sure to play some time this week. Never played Poker for real money but it's always something I thought would be entertaining. Smiley Even though I most likely will get slaughtered by people who actually know what they're doing.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I'm thinking that's a-typical; although I think the DDOS caused some delays recently.

Also, I thought other sites can take upwards of many weeks...

Coinbase for selling BTCs
Fold for spending BTCs
PM me with any questions on these sites/apps!  http://www.montybitcoin.com

or Vircurex for trading alt cryptocurrencies like DOGEs
CoinNinja for exploring the blockchain.

Seriously?  Even when I had PokerStars and cashed out through Neteller, it would take 24-48 hours.  I've never had one take longer than 12 hours, and since they process transactions manually to avoid fraud, you can often get support to manually do it faster if you ask.

I waited for months for a check from lock, trust me this is the fastest way to cash in and out.

New client version is insanely smooth.

Excellent. If it falters after a few hours just close and restart it when you can and it should be fresh again. Soon even that won't be necessary.

Is there an ETA on when the client will support Windows 8?

No, it may be a simple fix, but we won't know until it is actually fixed.

cant get on through anything

Do you mean your account is not working (wrong password or account locked?) or that you cannot reach the sever (maybe you are getting filtered by DDoS protection by mistake)?

Freemoney is going to press the reset button on the server in ~ 15 minutes.  it will be down for ~10 minutes then should come right back.

Daily bitcoin is cancelled for today.

I'm flying FPV race drones these days. Check out my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/MiconFPV

Why now? Did it have to do with the overlay??

It had nothing to do with any possible overlay. Turning the server off to delay a tournament is far from profitable. We lost a lot of functionality that could only be recovered with a restart so it had to be done right away.

Okay, no problem. It had to be asked. I see it is rescheduled to one hour later now.

Anyone find it unsettling that Micon is a site admin AND he plays on the site?

Nobody that plays on the site should have any kind of power over other users...

micon plays not so common, besides usually not more than 2 tables. You just sit at a different table if you do not want to play with him. Someone interesting to play with micon.

He plays tournaments too. And so does ender, who's also an admin.

At the minimum they should be playing on non-admin usernames

Neither micon or ender have any meaningful admin privileges. Ender is helpful and micon is a pro and representative. There is no problem with either of them playing.

Enjoyed a good 1 hour playing. Deposited 0.1 BTC and managed to get up to 300 chips from 100. Played some limit games which I was really bad at and went back down to 100 Sad.

Regardless of whether I was playing good or bad (Most likely bad due to lack of experience), had a lot of fun. Thanks Cheesy Will play again soon
