I have C programming knowledge, unfortunately not in cryptocoins area, I know I'm a not very good coordinator (much better engineer, than manager), and my english is not perfect (I usually try to write in simple way - just to be better understood, and get similar type of response)

you Cubevtc maybe could be good coordinator, I suppose

fyi: I have a Skype contact to Bushido, but now it is very hard to catch him there and to get few words from him online... I haven't already chances to ask him about access to this: "we already have implemented code just waiting for integrating and testing.",
yesterday I have send him Skype message with this link: http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/2hv7se/lyra2re_development_fund/
with asking about his opinion - and no answer until now...

Vertcoin will need all the dedicated minds and people of various skills to make it a success.  Each Vertan will have his/her part to play.  I am glad everyone is offering to help.

I am trying to contact Bushido. Please PM me Bushido's skype contact. This may help.

I have one possible interim solution yet.

Two most profitable coins for Nvidia 750Ti - at this moment - are Ultracoin and Cachecoin (Ultracoin from long time already). Both ScryptJane, both N-factor 14 now. I have also found this (but I didn't verify it yet):

"you obviously haven't mined UTC recently, with N-14 its as efficient as X11"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=727023.msg8895184#msg8895184

We could think about switching to higher NF, just to be beyond the scope of currently released ASICs, and to "buy the time" for carefull Lyra2RE implementation.

Such change would be easy from development point of view...

The algo switch is coming (don't know when since bushido can't work on it right now) but it will probably help the price but algo switch alone won't help much if the community is not willing to push things forward. We need to look at Dogecoin for a good example of the power of a community.

I agree. The whining on /r/vertcoin is just bad.
People claim such nonsensical stuff. Apparently now VTC has "failed its premise of ASIC resistance" because it'll get a couple of months of ASIC mining. Those guys probably live in a perfect world where nothing ever went wrong to them.

Believe it or not, I think having a couple of months of ASIC mining will be beneficial to the alts ecosystem as a whole. I hope VTC will recover from the blow.

It will recover only if the majority start to act and stop waiting for everything to fall in place. If we want this coin to survive, we need to put everything in place as a community and it start by funding a dev team to take over bushido work since he's not able to do it right now. We need a marketing team and mostly we need these two teams to talk to each other a lot for better result.
When those 2 things will be in place, it will be time to focus on other things. Because right now if we don't have both of those teams, this coin will go nowhere.

No. I doubt so. He has made it clear he is not looking for monetary gain. In fact, he has rejected repeated calls for donation.  He has personal issues which he needs to attend to first.

I like the idea of N-factor 14. Can you elaborate more on how this can help as an interim measure?  What would be the impact of n-14 on the current mining scene?

N-14 would be nice to make things harder for n-scrypt capable ASIC, around the corner probably:
http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/2gn1qr/time_for_lyra2re/

I'm not sure we should talk about it anyway, when I just get short message from Bushido, about no change N.
