The fees are less than I would ever expect to have to deal with when moving fiat around. I would hardly call them "huge". If they are huge to you? Then you have bigger financial problems to worry about than a ~2 USD fee for withdrawing BTC/LTC.

The withdraw fee is ridiculous. It's like 3-4 people agree with me vs your saying it's not. It is. Do you know what it takes to mine a .5 LTC on a 850 khash/s mining rig? Like half a day to a day. The withdraw fee of .1 btc and fee of .5 ltc is ridiculously too high. Needs to be like 3/4 lower. Lets wait and find out what gox does, then we'll see who uses who from now on. Fees, Fees, and moar fees. Fee's are every where, like the banks and credit card company's. I don't mind the trading fee's at btc-e but the goddamn withdraw fees is just dumb.

I concur. 0.01 BTC (nearly $2 USD) is effectively a penalty fee under these market conditions. It should not be used to rake traders in lieu of a low transaction fee. Just raise the transaction fee a tenth of a percent or so and you'll still be competitive and profitable.

Please lower BTC withdrawal fee to 0.0005 so it's not nearly $2 USD, BTC-E.

Please reply to this news post requesting a lower fee, everyone:

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

This guy got robbed by using the trollbox and not using 2FA:
http://r2.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1bz59u/how_i_got_hacked_and_had_all_of_my_btc_stolen/

Trollbox should probably not use your same login id in chat because fools use easy to guess passwords

It seems there is a lot more people having problems with BTC/LTC transfers on BTC-E...

Check out this topic in newbie section:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170592.0

It is probably not safe to do any trading with BTC-E now, until they sort this out.

No response to my PM to support.  Sent email this morning to support@btc-e.com.

Same issue here, something funny going on with LTC withdrawls

http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/Lc1A7BJ5Ls3LAhijZ741wZTbtrixdWscdC

49, 99, 99 went through ok.

https://i.imgur.com/EhwUjAu.jpg

I'm missing one about 2 minutes later for 149.
Some 20+ blocks have been mined since and its not showing on any.

BTC-e should also list the Block chain Transaction ID next to the withdrawl in the transaction history so we can trace these.

Got same email, and then it showed up 30 seconds later after i got reply. Think they are manually releasing them on request.

Not sure about the DDOS, there was no lag on server at the time.

SUPPORT- HELP!!??

You can see my posts all yesterday, here and in the newbie forum. I was having same problem as everyone else. I made transactions on the 6th, couldn't access account on 7th. Got in touch with support yesterday, the 8th. After hours of waiting and telling them I had my savings in there (8565 LTC), they said "wait ~24 hours, more checking" in an email. I said listen, I'll buy your office some pizzas when we get this all settled, I have my savings in there. He replied "okey  Wink" . I just got my account, and my 8565 LTC are gone. The time on the transaction list of the sells were yesterday, the night of the 8th. If the account was "hacked" on the 7th, they would of cleared it then. It wasn't until I told support my account was inaccessible with 8565 LTC, that I was told to wait 24 hours and my account starting selling all my litecoins. BTC-e support, I have screen captures and lists of EVERYTHING. I'm hoping I'm missing something.

EDIT:Not only are they gone, the transaction history shows the last withdrawal/deposit of anything was the 4th!!So my coins weren't stolen or withdrawn ANYWHERE. They are just GONE

EDIT2: Where is best place to showcase all of this. Photobucket?

EDIT3: Now its saying my coins were traded into BTC on the 8th, after talking with support, and withdrawn on the 8th. To BTC address 1FzfsTqgo3ni71QYvDqtBw6wjMHYkEhXW  ...Funny everyone else got their account fixed right away, I was told wait "~24 hours..more checking" .

EDIT4: Found the transaction in the blockchain. I find it strange so many peoples accounts were compromised in one weekend. Someone said someone was using a rainbow table? I shouldn't have to pay for security issue, if that is the case. Support please contact me.

EvilLizardApparel, what is the reply they gave you? because if there was no whitrawal, maybe they were sold?? So what is the general consensus about btc-e? is BTC-E SCAM?

Also the 0.5LTC fee what a fking moneygrab, i hope mtgox opens for ltc as soon as possible, these russians had the oportunity of making something really important to compete with gox, instead they are fucking it up

@EvilLizardApparel
Dude I am so sorry to hear that some fuck would pull some shit like that on you, and I couldn't imagine that happening to me. I have only had one incident where someone compromised my mining account and changed my wallet address and ended up losing 1 single Bitcoin because of it. At the time they were going for about $5 USD and I was so pissed I actually finally created an account on this forum just so I could complain to the person in charge of the mining pool.

I actually just started using btc-e last week and I had an incident where I made a withdrawal of 900 LTC and the balance showed that I was missing it but it was taking forever to actually make it to my wallet. It took 30+ hours for it to finally actually be sent to me. I feel like it was a real close call with LTC now at about $5 themselves I would be devastated if I were to lose that kind of money. In my personal experience btc-e handled my situation in the correct manner. But I am still scared to put a massive amount into my account and risk it all being taken by someone. I think I'm gonna trade in bite sized chunks from here on out.

Successful trades with bels, misterbigg, ChrisNelson, shackleford, geniusboy91, and Isokivi.

Many people were "locked out" of their accounts this weekend, with a "bad password" being reported. Which means it was a widespread security breach. I should not have to lose my 8565 LTC for something I had no fault in. I don't click trollbox links. The fact that it happened to multiple people on the same day leads me to believe that they could not handle the attack traffic effectively and were compromised to some degree. If anything, I want the IP address the withdrawal was requested from. Oh, and, I want my coins..Because the fault lies with you, unless you can tell me otherwise how all these accounts were compromised in one day.

EDIT: Now after they "reopened" my account yesterday, I cannot login AGAIN. Bad password..When I try to send a password recovery email, it says "Error: The database server is not available now, so the page cannot be displayed correctly." ...So like I said, ITS YOUR DATABASE/WEBSITE that is having security issues and just not working at all issues...

I'm having the same problem, I was using it 5 minutes ago. I think they've exceeded their bandwidth.
