@BUMFACE and @dcgirl ; IMPORTANT about the new wallet ! I downloaded today the V1030 and it is fully synct. Next today I sent from my Cryptsy account some transactions to my wallet on my laptop. This went ok and the wallet received all the incoming transactions. But looking now at the block explorer those incoming transaction ID's are not in the chain Next I sent 3 transactions from my wallet to my Cryptsy account. At checking the transactions in my wallet I can see there are more than +600 confirmations of each transaction. So looking at this i must think the outgoing transactions from my wallet to Cryptsy has to be ok. But now the second problem ; At my Cryptsy account the incoming transactions are after many hours still not received. I can only see at my Cryptsy account that these incoming transactions are still Pending Deposits fore many hours. Still with zero incoming conformations. Also here, very strange, looking at the block explorer those outgoing transaction ID's are also not in the chain What can here to be the problem My three deposit's at my Cryptsy account are still Pending and still with zero confirmations Now for already more then 13 hours long Is it because off the failing block chain Is it because off faults at Cryptsy Is it because faults at the new wallet Paul, I don't know if you read my edit update but before I stepped out temporarily, I deposited 5 UTC to cryptsy. I'm still waiting on the first confirmation. So, now that I'm back, I tried to send 5 UTC to deposit in Mintpal as well. Mintpal accepted them!!! I'm no genius when it comes to blockchain explorer, but shouldn't that help a little with who's currently at fault? Again, though, I'm a noob... What is cryptsy afraid of that mintpal isn't? Thanks Craig, it is a smart test you did. It will be a good advice more ppl do this test, and after it seems to be the problem at the side of Cryptsy we all inform the support team of them about it and push them for a quick repair. And off course the DEV team also has to take some action and has to follow and monitoring the response of Cryptsy (Bumface already tweeted them). For me the most important is to know it is not a problem of the new wallet and that the wallet is 100% safe. I have some serious amount of coins so it must be save as in the bank... not only for me but for us all ! Edit: And it is a bad thing if professional and big exchanges do not update wallets at the moment they are available.... We all put out there a lot of serious crypto money (and they get big profit out of it), we trust them and they must take that very serious....

Here are the settings I use for around 35k WU each r9 280x with the cgminers for UTC
del scrypt*.bin setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://ultra2.nitro.org:4337 -u 'username' -p 'password' --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 -I 11 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 16384 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1500 --temp-target 70 --auto-fan --no-submit-stale --expiry 10 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --gpu-powertune 20
You can lower the gpu engine and gpu memclock depending on your requirements.
I personally think that UTC should be around 10-13 cents per utc to be competitive with the other alt coins listed since the reward is less than 1/3 of what it used to be. This should be around .00022-.00029. Which would bring the total market value of the coin up to about 1.5 million which is wholly reasonable for the current market. The rewards listed on mining pools also seems to be incorrect since the rewards have been reduced.

Agreed. I've only used cryptsy in the past. I've just recently signed up with mintpal because I wanted to begin to try and ultilize DCgirl's Ultra-arb.com site. I don't trust exchanges at all. But point being... is that BigVern, with Cryptsy, seems to always post new updates on coin systems that don't always mesh with their current system... they always eventually fix them. I'm not knocking Cryptsy at all..., I'm a Florida native, which is why I am so strongly tied with their system - Cryptsy is based out of Florida, USA. No offense to anyone, but I like knowing that my money is not being transacted though somewhere else 5,000 miles away. Until then... If you wish to trade with your UTC to make money, or buy more... presently, it's best to use another exchange. Yet just remember that the main purpose of the cryptocoin was to allow individuals the right to not have to give it to a middle man to keep it safe for you. Please remember that, first and foremost. Cryptocurrency and dare I say cryptocommodities are the future. Cheers all!!

With the amount I'm mining a day with 3 280x's, 20 UTC, the price should be at least 10 cents.

I'm getting about 55 UTC per day mining with my rig I've just previously posted! Great moment, huh. So now's where it hit's you... ...this is probably the last bit of time you will ever see this price again... Enjoy! The choice is up to you. The beauty of it is, is that there won't be any ASIC's to come from behind you and steal your GPU miner rig investment. Scrypt Chacha is the future. Cheers!! Craig Claussen

Well, Craig, while ASICs certainly don't exist yet, if there is a will, there is a way. But it'll probably be quite some time before then. Also, I am working on integrating a support/ticketing system into the UTC site. This should allow the team to better handle all requests coming in and will allow for a more efficient transmission of information. I'll keep you all posted as needed.

After playing with my rig for a while I got to 20Kh/s on all 3 cards with 0 HW errors. Everything else either doesn't make a difference to KH/s, or raises HW errors, or crashes. So I think this is as far as I can get in Cgminer. I'm trying YACminer next but I can't see to get anything stable, with the settings I'm using I'm getting around 6Kh/s. Are the commands different then Cgminer? It seems to be a whole different beast altogether. Does anyone have any 280x YACminer configs?

Ok guys and Girls, this is my .bat file for yacminer, it gives me 55 khash/s on 4x Sapphire dual-x 3Gb r9 280x without hardware errors and I am running it on windows 7 with 8 GB of system RAM. Hope it helps!
yacminer --scrypt-chacha --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 3 --buffer-size 2590 -R 7680 -o <the pool address> -u <miner name> -p <miner password> --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600

This is the config I use for my rigs. They have 4 x 280X and 8 GB RAM: --scrypt-chacha -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ultracoinpool.info:3333 -u xwebnetwork.RIG3 -p X -R 8000 -g 1 -w 128 --buffer-size 2656 --lookup-gap 3 --temp-cutoff 85 --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1250 --auto-fan --temp-target 75 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-cutoff 85 Nets me around 55KHs per card, stable. Maybe 1 or 2 HW errors a week, if that. WU is dead on at 200 for the 4 cards, which is great.
