I'm entirely confused as to tickets with a higher ID than mine and others can be processed sooner. Would you mind sharing who was assigned to your ticket? I have "Javan", who seems to be in the land of nod since 38 days ago..

I'm personally offering a $2,500 bounty from my Poloniex account balance to the person who may be able to assist in contacting these guys direct or at least speeding up the response process.. Re-mortgaging our family home is becoming a serious possibility as the days go by Sad

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Ticket says Martin. When I first lodged the ticket they said they would pass it on to an engineer to look at so I am assuming Martin is the engineer.
Maybe Javan is just some first level support guy in India or maybe he doesn't work there anymore, who knows.
All I know is that the first level support guys don't even have the ability to cancel a withdrawal (go figure) all they can do is pass the ticket onto an engineer.

The only other thing I can think of is to answer yes to "Is this a timed address" that might speed things up.

Sorry I cant be of much more help but you really should not be investing money on exchanges that you need to pay living expenses.. that is risky beyond measure.

Here is some more info:

On the 26th of August there was only 1000 BTC in these hot wallets controlled by Poloniex

12cgpFdJViXbwHbhrA3TuW1EGnL25Zqc3P
17A16QmavnUfCW11DAApiJxp7ARnxN5pGX

Now there is nearly 10,000 BTC.

So it seems like they have enough BTC to pay everyone out.

They also have upto 192,000 litecoins. on august 24 that was down to 120,000

Have you tried to not submitting other tickets? According to some people here, resubmitting only made your ticket to be pushed to the back of the line.

Another wild suggestion is to spare some money and visit their "office", maybe they'll help the process if you meet them face to face. Have anyone tried this?

There is an arbitration contact in the Terms of service too.. contact that law firm and ask for arbitration when its urgent and a lot of money is at stake.

@Alphi - To my knowledge, Javan is based in the UK. But I have no idea who he is. All I know is that he is taking hella long to even acknowledge my ticket. I've altered the ticket to the withdraw being connected to a timed address, so I guess we'll see what happens from here.

Yeah I've learnt my lesson now as far as exchanges are concerned, as I'm not really invested heavily in the crypto community itself, I wasn't aware of the issues with Poloniex support until I got caught up

As for those Bitcoin addresses, I don't see 10,000 coins there anymore Sad

I'll be sure to take a look at their so called "Terms of Service".

@holydarkness - Unfortunately not, I've created a few tickets. But I beg to differ how other users have this knowledge about tickets being pushed to the bottom.

Maybe try to skype or tweet busoni with your ticket number.I think your money is safe though because poloniex is very trustworthy no matter what fud is being spread on this thread.

The poloniex doesn't answer to my ticket for almost 50 days ...

Same here. 3 month NOTHING. Hate Poloniex. Nothing to say. Just a bunch of scammers and thefts. Hope FBI will close them soon. Such terrible exchange should not be here in that cryptospace.  Angry

I think I've already posted this but it was a while ago and for those who missed it you should have a look; It's an amusing review of how special Poloniex is compared to other exchanges.

I think with the recent segwit update some block explorers are not reporting correct balances because they can't read the seqwit transactions.

Try blockchain.info

there is still 8,300 BTC here https://blockchain.info/address/12cgpFdJViXbwHbhrA3TuW1EGnL25Zqc3P

and 370 BTC here https://blockchain.info/address/17A16QmavnUfCW11DAApiJxp7ARnxN5pGX

And that is just the hot wallets that I know about.. there are probably others as well as cold storage.

So I don't think its time to panic just yet.. I think you just need to figure out how to escalate your ticket (either by contacting busoni/tristan or the arbitrator directly).

For anyone else reading this, you should probably only try to contact them directly if there is a huge amount of money stuck in withdraw awaiting approval.

Busoni/Tristan's linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/tristandagosta/

Goodluck!

After 43 days they closed my tickets, let 1 open and said will look and still they do not send my SIACOIN... why they replied last week to one of the tickets and still do not send my money ? I have 2FA enabled.

They received my BTC though when I added funds, they do not send my SC when withdraw ...

I got a reply to my ticket today (originally created  24 Aug) relating to generating IDs, they noted to try again, however the issue still persists but someone is alive and well checking tickets at least!

I'm looking at starting arbitration with Poloniex for my missing deposits, has anyone been down this route that cares to tell their story?

Are they still listing coins with all the problems they have?

Based on their official news on the site and on their twitter account, the latest added coin is ZRX (added on August 18th). Seems that there is no more added coins after that. Obviously, they should fix all the problems they have instead of focusing on new coins that are going to be listed.
Surprisingly, their volume is still high compared to other exchange even though they have so many problems. Just curious, are those real volume or just a fake volume?

Probably real volume. I believe there are still some people out there that doesn't know about recent withdrawal issue and still think everything is smooth. IMO, no one could learn about this issue unless they follow this thread, which we have to admit, not really on every user's agenda.

Or maybe some users know about the issue and decide to accumulate while waiting for the issue to be sorted out.
