The line of text under the jackpot box says " You have a 0 % chance to win!". I'm not sure exactly what is meant by that, but it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence about my chances of winning. Does it just refer to the jackpot? How do I increase my chances from 0%?

By playing... the more you play the more chances you have to win the jackpot... my chances are at 2.93398533007335% to win!

That is one of the UI problems we should fix soon. Technically it is correct that your chance to win the jackpot is 0% if you haven't played at all But it gives bad impression to the users.

Basically, that is the chance to win the weekly jackpot. More you play, higher is the chance to win it. The percentage is calculated as the (number of payments you made / total number of payments) for the week.
There is section in the FAQ (which is in the footer and we should move it to the header) explaining how does it work.

The idea is that 1% of all payments accumulates into the weekly jackpot. We still haven't decided what is the best way to determine the winner. You can check the jackpot list (button in the footer of the page) of all addresses that played with numbers assigned. Your address will be highlighted (if you have played before, i.e. slot that you played in has finished). Maybe we will take the first transaction id, or block chain id in the next week, and take that as a SEED for random.org.

I hope that I have explained our idea.

Lightning is being tested on Segnet4, but we don't hear a thing about Bitcoin's amazing new features (CLTV/CSV/SEGWIT/RBF) being added to Dash.  Payment channels like Lightning are what will enable crypto at Visa scale; trusted Masternodes using InstantX is a nonstarter for anything less trivial than vending machines.
