Check coin control inputs. Tick list mode. You should see 1 round.

Edit: there is a small bug with wallet not registering subsequent rounds, so it tries to keep denominating.

Checked.. it says "Darksend Rounds -2" for inputs!?
-2 means nothing has denominated.

I dumped the last of my XMR awhile ago.  Saying that cryptonote coins are dead is incorrect.  The current coins will likely fade away but the technology is suffering growing pains.  There will be a next generation of cryptonote coins that will have many of the early issues resolved.

The same way you guys always use the "Darkcoin is breaking new ground with new technology" argument, the same can be said for cryptonote coins where the technology is merely a couple months old.  You're smart enough to know that.

Not to get into a long debate but have you read the cryptonote white paper? https://cryptonote.org/whitepaper.pdf

If not I think you'll find it rather interesting.

Pointless. It's not compatible with Btc and is not battle tested.

Edit: don't forget to sell your boolberries.

everything below 1.1 DRK gets -2 in the rounds and also everything gets -2 when it hasnt started denominating yet.

OK, will wait.. but the client still says darkSend Status => Idle and the debug says:

dump right now 20k of dark no need for shit promises about anonymity...if you cannot deliver the product you intend to serve to people dont say much words...
ok... that is great news... everyone listen up 20k of dark coming down the pipe and about  to be dumped ... get your btc's ready... and im. throwing my fiat to btc right now.... let us know when sir.

If everyone was buying cheap DRK's like they say then the price wouldn't keep going down.  Most of those people saying "More cheap Darks" are not buying and they know it.  You might be scooping up some cheap coins but you're not going to lift this market alone.

The problem right now is that most of the people hyping DRK the most are already 100% invested in DRK and have no btc to buy more.

People are not buying DRK right now because they are waiting until most sells and buys establish a foundation or equilibrium.
Another way of saying is that buyers are waiting to see how far the price drops.
Your observation makes some sort of sense but not as an investor thinks
Wink

Agreed, the price is dropping but we have not seen capitulation yet.  The smart buyer only gets in when there is blood in the streets.  We are not there yet.  Getting closer though... the drop from ~.008 to ~.007 was sudden, but on not much volume.  Capitulation requires a lot of volume.  As long as we continue hitting new price lows on low volume, nobody's going to try to catch this falling knife.

I am still hodling a small amount of DRK, but I have BTC waiting for the bottom.

And for the record, I have sold my cryptonote coin holdings like I did with DRK because there is too much misinformation and hype.

My wallet has been open for almost 24 hours and nothing is anonymized.

i think it's because you sold all your darkcoins and don't have any to anonymize.

Anyone else getting a "pending" notice when withdrawing DRK from Cryptsy? I've had a withdrawal transaction show that for an hour or so - never seen that before. My wallet is up to date (29), Rounds = 1 and I have no other anomalies. Well, one actually, but I think it is a known issue - a small amount has not yet anonymized over the last couple of days although most did back on version 26.

da this is good advise.

i have question which if can be answered truthful I will invest in darkcoin when bottom is found.

My question is, what makes darkcoin price so high? from looking at many coins to invest I see same use in at least 4 other coins and these other coins have no overhead and masternode server fees.

So if reason for using darkcoin is to send anon tranfer, then why use darkcoin? I know they claim we are first anon but that does not hold water from utility standpoint.

It's because cryptsy is incredibly slow processing withdrawals. I had a btc withdrawal take 3 hours the other day (just to process to the blockchain). I think I'm done using them.

Thanks for that. I'll just wait a while then. I hadn't had any delays in the past though although I'd heard complaints about Cryptsy speed.

Edit: Status changed to "processed" from "pending", and the DRK showed up in my wallet - total time under two hours. Everything is fine now.

masternode server fee's should not concern you as they don't affect you unless you own a masternode.
my amazon masternode server fee is free for a year but others are paying $5-10 a month.

the other coins are either not trustless and/or are pos rollback coins or have bloating issues.

Just wait or type Darksend auto

Make sure you're on v.29

Here is the version I'm on  v0.10.12.29-gf7b7e35-beta

I typed Darksend auto and this is what showed up in the debug log file:

2014-08-15 17:17:03 DoAutomaticDenominating : No funds detected in need of denominating (2)

Also, I'm not seeing the coin control features that I see in the screenshots in the other forum https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc4-launch.2033/

I'm trying this on Windows 8 if that makes any difference.

thank you for explaining this. I understand this. why I dont understand is coin is priced 7X of other coin that have same utility? Just seem price overvalue  Huh  when coin comes in line with market, I will buy maybe at 200k, is this going to be the bottom?
