Almost every time I refresh the thread, posts are missing.  I thought this was an unmoderated thread....?

It is Jestah, the BCT mods keep deleting posts.

Yes I have plenty of posts deleted.  Normally the Shojayxt posts and anything critical of LTC...

I did have a post deleted when I responded to IceBreaker, he was trying to push PaycoinDark and I said jokingly "Yo, don't PaycoinDark me bro..." and it got deleted...

I guess certain people are protected by the mods...

The worlds first Pay Per Mod model?  Wink

Ha!

How long before postings have some sort of "mod protect" fee that can be added (a bit like the transaction fee in crypto) where your post will have more resistance to being deleted and you'll be offered levels of "protection" (you know, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.....at Platinum you can say anything about anyone).

I reckon it's coming soon!

Darkcoin Ambassador Group Update

To all volunteers:

Hello, Guys, just wanted to give a quick update. We are incredibly happy with how the Darkcoin Ambassador Group is going, we are already over 30 volunteers from all over the world, looking forward to representing Darkcoin in our cities. As you know we have been contacting all of you to get some information about location and background to understand better who we are as a group and also tungfa has been contacting all of you to get your email accounts ready so that we can invite you all into Slack and the Hangouts.

Thank you for your patience, this part of the process takes some time as we are all in different places and time zones but we are almost done. Our expectation is to start our first meetings next week, we will probably give a couple of options for time and date so that everyone can attend. Our first meetings have the purpose of defining a work methodology and defining some initial goals, we will be using Slack for communication and live interaction so that is where the group will reside. Slack will be our virtual headquarters to give the group a sense of structure. Whenever you log into Slack the idea is you will find members working on their assigned tasks, sharing ideas and collaborating. We will use Asana to keep track of tasks and assign due dates and to have some level of accountability on the projects.

All members will soon start receiving their invitations to the Slack group, you can start downloading the app to your phones and computers if you wish to. We firmly believe this is another form of innovation from Darkcoin. It is a social innovation more than a technical one, but it is very much needed.

Darkcoin is going on tour, this is going to be fun.

Just listened to the Daily Dose of Dark by Bill Cassidy, thanks for sharing the Darkcoin 3D printing experience we had last night with ISG3D.com!

Here is a preview of the 3D printed DRK Darkcoin for those of you who missed the live stream:

Im just fooling around with the Raspberry PI model B and cant get it to work.

After

sudo chmod +x ./darkcoind

i try to start it with

./darkcoind

just to check its starting i get

cannot execute binary file

Then i found this quote from a website. Does it make any sense? Im a linux noob.

"..to be more precise the the Raspberry Pi has an ARMv6 CPU, these CPU's are a different architecture to the x86 and x86-64 to which you are referring.

Raspbian is based of ARMv7 Debian Wheezy ARMHF and compiled to run on the ARMv6......."

So no go for a masternode on a PI model B (or A for that matter?)

you have to compile it from source. the binaries dont work on arm* architectures.

I can't even make a post in the VirtualCoin thread without scammers posting my picture calling me a scammer.

How does this qualify to be deleted?

Beyond Bitcoin - 26 - Darkcoin

All about Darkcoin. Having sworn my allegiance to the 2.0 space long ago I was blown away to see how deeply innovative a single token tracking platform could be. Darkcoin is a project I will watch closely following this fascinating discussion. Thanks to Fernando for introducing me to Evan and organising this interview.

Finally !! I am still dumbfounded why neither Adam or Stephanie haven't jumped at the opportunity to feature Darkcoin. Every thing they love and hate about BTC point to DRK. Specially Stephanie who is more "out there" in opinion, and ferverous libertarian. I really dont get it. They've had a few dozen whacky coins, I dont get why they've still not done anything on DRK.  Huh

I still haven't listened to it, so I'm gonna blame the edition for everything that is not right... including my accent Smiley

I agree about the LTB crew. I've written a few articles there and emailed to all of them regularly, but they never show more interest in DRK. Arthur, on the other hand, was great. Too bad he's discontinuing his podcast. Let's hope at least this raises some more interest.

Is it going to be:

While we're waiting, lets read Varoufakis on Bitcoin:
