Ubuntu has patched the bug both for 12.04 and the older 10.04

Does this mean if you're on Ubuntu 14.04 the issue's already been rectified so there's no action needed?

The bug is in glibc-2.2 and was fixed with glibc-2.18.

Ubuntu 14.04 uses glibc-2.19, so yes, no action needed.

It was more or less an advisory for those running unpatched OSes. While most (probably 99%) of the masternodes are probably running Ubuntu and fine, there might be a handful not, along with individual users' operating systems. Always good to be aware of any exploits. Smiley

Okay, guessed 14.04 was safe but thanks for confirming.

Okay some weird stuff is going on here.. I just updated to 11.0.14 and suddenly my MN wallet is showing more coins than it actually has.

http://explorer.darkcoin.fr/address/XvJPvhhtn9AQeL8t6KWCN6bR8UjyRetsta

Balance: 1005.95679 DRK
Last payment: 23-01-2015

Screenshot shows the same last payment, but the amount of DRK is more..??

And on a sidenote: I haven't received a payment to any of my Masternodes for the past 5 days. I'm either doing something terribly wrong, or am I just unlucky?

It sure looks like change... check coin control for a different change address. Has nothing to do with the update. Finally, enforcement is back on so payments should even back out again.

Yep, your change is in this address http://explorer.darkcoin.fr/address/Xjs2oimzYocbBbVnE9zsjzx1NfotEspty1 from when you scrapped your payments off your masternode back to 1k.

Can anyone post any link with masternode minimal requirements? Like HD capacity, ram, CPU etc.

Nothing set in stone but you need a hdd large enough for the blockchain + debug.log, memory probably at least 128mb + swap (from the sounds of camosoul), single core cpu is fine.

Really, it's barebones.

Cool thanks. Is there much difference between OpenVZ and KVM? Providers seem to offer both and KVM is a bit more expenssive?

Really depends on if the provider oversells their OVZ.

Here are plenty of options:

http://lowendbox.com/

Do you run masternodes, if so, can you recommend a cheap one for me? Im never 100% sure which one to go for.

I haven't received a payment for 10 days. Haven't worried about it too much as my MN has been up and down a few times with all the updating, dropping-off problem and general network instability when the fork happened. But it's been up solid on 0.11.0.13 and now 0.11.0.14 for just under 4 days so I'm expecting I should get a payment any time now (and will start to become concerned if I don't see something in the next 24-48 hours).

So what does this mean exactly? Everything is fine? Tongue

How come the funds on that address show up in my MN wallet? These are the only addresses that my MN wallet has: https://i.imgur.com/G7kC16l.jpg, the one you linked to is a completely different address. Wut...
