Wow... I just logged into BitFinex... I had no idea I had some Darkcoin in there (yep, darkcoin they were!).
I am flabbergasted. I don't usually make these mistakes... kudos to them for keeping my wallet alive!

Since I have no more money in any of The Financial Crime Cartel financial fraud markets I have a guilty pleasure observing how all that shite is crumbling down. Then you'll enjoy Jim Willie's latest rant Talk about volatility b.t.w.. Italian banks up 5% yesterday, down 5% this morning, heading for 6%. The entire Spanish equity market has lost 35% of its value in 10 months. You have to pay Swedish banks to lend them your money... The world financial system has gone a bit wonky. He's too entrenched in the yesteryear's idea of the gold being money -- hint: DASH could be, only if they would listen to your 13 y.o. iPhone girls vs. monetary unit discussion -- to amuse me anymore. This is much more amusing: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-10/this-is-why-the-fed-is-paying-interest-to-big-banks(granted this should enrage any thinking person, but laughter is healthier than rage. Even though I have recurring dreams of all these clowns the Financial Crime Cartel puts in their respective offices, them being congresswomen or presidents or anything in between, facing a firing squad)

He's too entrenched in the yesteryear's idea of the gold being money Agreed. I always wonder what all these hoarders are going to do with their gold bars when they need a loaf of bread. Chip a bit off and take it to the baker's ? In today's age, a cryptocurrency is a far more effective monetary unit. They don't realise that that's how gold got its value in the first place - by being a practical unit of exchange. If it isn't a practical any more then its monetary premium (and therefore so-called 'intrinsic value') plummets. IMO, people hoarding gold are walking straight into a huge bull trap. Lets see. Maybe China will save them.

I found £160 in 20's 2 days ago, tucked in an envelope I had completely forgotten about. Not as good as the two sovereigns I found in an Asimov novel I forgot about a few years ago, but still an awesome find. What I'm really after is a chest full of sovereigns someone else forgot about in a field maybe about 200 years ago perhaps?

All of my masternodes currently have a payment queue rank of 0/3390... Is that normal? Same here. No payment for 7 days at least (10 days in one case), but Dashwhale monitoring is normal for all my masternodes, and DashNinja lists them as "active". Is there a rational explanation? if you use Vultr as I do,, they rebooted my server a few days ago and my last payment was about a day late or Maybe this
there was some glitch with the last superblock, it kicked a bunch of MN's offline they all reconnected

An offline MN would trigger an alert in Dashwhale, I suppose?

This guy is tweeting away like mad during the financial crash and his tweets are 50 times meatier than the clueless commentary you get in the Guardian, Telegraph, WSJ or BBC live feeds. (Handy while waiting for the Tyler Durdens to get out of bed & start typing). Summary: Ethereum dump postponed now that it's been found to be genuine demand and not a pump after shapeshift.io reports it's broken all volume records. Dash holding ground against $dollar, drifting a little against BTC and soaring against West Texas Crude ! Deutsche dump gathering. Down 8.54% now. Vultures circling over weak sovereign debt. Portugese 10 year yields up 48%. 2-year yield up 160% in 24 hours. Japan can't keep their currency value down despite printing gazzillions of it (shows how bad everything else is). Abenomics lying in the ditch. This place is just about to run out of 500g Silver bars. Ashraf Laidi now sez positions are unwinding and British traders have not to go to lunch since US ones are going to skip breakfast The Tylers have managed one lazy post to keep readers busy - telling them what they already know - to buy some valuable time to finish their cheerios. Bank of Japan said to be intervening now to weaken the Yen. Popcorn equity may explode now that central banks have commenced minute-to-minute currency wars. ***** End of Podcast (I need to go and buy stuff to make some chicken stew) *********

Sometimes I wonder how I got interested in this stuff, then I remember, I see this as a possible way to shrink government by taking control of money away from them Of course I have no idea how all this will play out. But if we make any impact to stop crony capitalism, I'll be happy. Also, of course, this is technology

Very happy to see our Lead Scientist belonging to The Bilderberg Group of Crypto Kidding & long-term concerns aside; DASH does not have a better ambassador than Evan. So this is great. Almost sorry it would be so secret Why is Dufffield not among those listed as signing the Call for Consensus document? https://medium.com/@bitcoinroundtable/a-call-for-consensus-d96d5560d8d6Charlie Lee signed it on behalf of Litecoin, but where is the Darkcoin/Dash guy's endorsement? Is Dufffield in favor of Classic's attempt to impose a contentious hard fork on Bitcoin?

You haven't been around much lately. A bit under the weather? Warm chicken soup with ginger is an age old remedy. Asians swear by it, and I can tell it, it does do wonders. I also put in hot pepper scrapings to add some punch to the immune system. Wear warm clothes and try to sweat it out, it's great way to eliminate toxins. Lots of warm tea to keep hydrated! Hope you get well! Kisses your way. Colloidal silver prevents the need for all that. But since Evan was (reportedly) attending the Satoshi Roundtable event, aren't you wondering why he didn't sign the Call for Consensus? Coblee signed it on behalf of Litecoin, effectively saying overruling and saying "fuck you" to his pointy-headed CEO. So what's Evan's problem with "pool administrators who have signed this statement [who] represent ~90% of the hashing power on the network?"

So what's Evan's problem with "pool administrators who have signed this statement [who] represent ~90% of the hashing power on the network?" Probably the fact that they don't represent "90% of the hashing power on the network". They represent the self-interested, turkeys not voting for christmas, totally-unrepresentative-of-anything views of 20 random individuals. 20 swimming pool administrators would be just as "representative" (and less conflicted).
