How is it possible that one guy on p2pool who has 7,75MH/s gets 0,5drk and at the same time I have 9 MH/s and get only 0,17drk, I was mining all day there.

The thing is, this is good stuff and gets the message out. But the immediate target audience read coindesk and similar sites. Those news sites won't accept just any old thing unless it brings something new.

1000DRK sure, but that doesn't equal the necessary knowledge or commitment to run a node behind DDOS. 

Basically I just hope that people are putting up decent DDOS protection.  Maybe this should be confirmed by the current master node operators.

I plan on trying to set one up, but right now I'm just researching.  It's a lot of stuff to go through because the information on the internet is more for running Apache/MySQL, etc.. not quite the same, yet similar.  Our situation is sort of easier if you use a dedicated server (which I plan on) so it's a matter of filtering out the pertinent information.

Hi, I'm new to darkcoin and x11 mining, can someone please shere optimal settings for 280 dual-x? what WU is expected with this cards?

I'm using -w 256 -I 13 -g 2 --gpu-powertune 20 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-fan 50, and getting WU 0.03-0.031 per card (on a rig with 4 cards)

Have you been mining 24 hours?  You won't get up to full rewards until 24 hours have passed, but then again, you will continue to collect after you quit for 24 hours, so it evens out

See my comment above, it takes 24 hours to get full rewards, on the other end though, you will continue to receive rewards for 24 hours after you quit.
