Don't worry about these guys.  They don't care about you.  All they want to do is pile on like the followers they are.

Oh but you care so much, right buddy?

I was actually offering sound advice. Unlike the other idiot who told him to get a job and invest more into Darkcoin.

Anyway whatever. I have more important things to be doing than arguing with idiots who refuse to see basic sense

Lol, tell me how buying a small amount of darkcoin every other week with money you have earned from working is bad advise?

It would get him away from trading (Losing) so much and would actually earn money. After paying his bills, buy more dark?

What's wrong with that?

I do worry about how long this downward trend will continue.  We've seen two dumps of over 40k DRK and one of 25K DRK in the last month alone and whilst there has been a small rally after each one the price has continued to decline.

In my humble opinion I think the number of updates and teething problems are rattling confidence.  Combine that with the general slack behaviour of BTC recently and we're not too many big dumps away from a frenzy.

You're essentially telling a gambler who is broke to go back to the casino and keep betting red.

Neither you, I, or anyone else knows what the price of DRK will be in a month or year from now. That's fact. At this point cryptocurrency is more of a gamble than a solid investment.

That's why putting any significant % of your income into it (when you don't have much cash to begin with anyway) is a bad fucking idea.

A lot of people just don't seem to get that and the result is these emotional breakdowns when the price crashes. They're looking for other people to be mad at, when in reality they only have themselves to blame

Its mostly the price of BTC that is causing problems.

I just picked up 25 BTC today because of the downtrend in bitcoin - betting on the likely coming of ETFs changing the landscape and increasing prices.

My long held XMR have crashed in price. DRK is holding up relatively well by comparison to this BTC driven downtrend.

I would have a really hard time forgiving myself if I played the market by selling my masternodes and wound up missing a rise and got priced out. So, I work my job and put as much from each paycheck as I can into btc then drk. Anyway, It's just money I would drink away or throw at women. If the price rises, I'm happy. Same story for if the price falls.

Darkcoin was one of the first alt coins I ever heard of aside from Dodge. This coin has some long term potential in my opinion. I really just starting looking into it more recently, and what I have noticed is that so many alt coins have promised anonymity and it seems in essence baseless. It is my understanding that Darkcoin remains one of the very few alt coins that may actually be able to hold good on it journey to real anonymity. I may just have to add this gem to my portfolio soon!

guys its time we took over the dark web ...all of it.. Cool
https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-tor-anonymity-can-busted-2500-month/
A nice story has been developing in the last few weeks that could propel DRK higher. Tor is no longer anonymous nor even safe for bitcoin transactions. Recently a major bitcoin tumbler got hacked. Options for BTC holders are dwindling. Meanwhile DRK is picked up by a few new darknet merchants. This is just the kind of information that can breathe new life into the anon crypto market and DRK is the clear leader in this space.

Anyways, where else are traders going to park their BTC right now? Crypto 2.0 and ICO coins are under fire from the SEC. Nothing else new and exciting happening in cryptoland. I believe the big pool of BTC is going to slosh its way into our beloved DRK again soon, and I am going to get some more now at Bitfinex in front of those laggers!

Oh yeah and on top of this, InstantTX is on the horizon, and MN's are being paid better.  Why not.

Since we are in a casino, i bet he does not have a job.

Its called cost averaging, and its one of the most conservative investment strategist around. If you are in the project for the long term cost averaging is an excellent idea.

If dark's price fell to 0.001, as a long term cost averaging investor this is great news. And should be to jams.

Well, Terzo's been skipping his medication again, and popitcu is a bot so I wouldn't worry too much.

Yeah it's a great theory, but it relies on the price coming back up. The fundamentals of DRK might be solid, but that means jack shit in the cryptocurrency World.

So again, investing in cryptocurrency is paramount to gambling. Plain and simple.

I own a decent amount of Bitcoin and Darkcoin. They're the only 2 cryptocurrencies I have interest in. Admittedly I use Bitcoin pretty much daily for various services and supplies, Darkcoin not so much. But I still consider both a gamble in terms of return on "investment".

That's why no matter how smart you think you are, what clever trading techniques you apply, the core rule still applies... Don't buy what you can't afford to lose

Perhaps the news of Federal Reserve stopping the QE3 caused the bitcoin drop which triggered the Darkcoin drop? I have a feeling that this short term optimism about market recovery isn't gonna last long Smiley

Your opinion is fact.  I've updated masternodes five time in the last couple weeks like everyone else.  That is NOT acceptable.  If the tech isn't ready it isn't ready.  Don't release it until it is.  Simple concept but not followed.

The tech is under development, AND it's being used as live software. As such, it is subject to live attack and subversion. The software is about to change again for InstantX. Understand that this is part of the reason you get paid to run a masternode. Get on testnet if you really want to feel the burn.
