Is there a minimum that you need to stake you ETH, because i can see the long term backing of this coin, but i have a small holding.

The rumour is that you have to 1500 Ethereum to stake. You can search the internet to find out. It is too big.

I think that this is good. This prevent anyone to profit from this system, and this create a huge demand for the coins, which will make the price rise a lot. By the way, the normal price is back Smiley !

But what's the reasoning for the minimum amount, wouldn't it be better for network security if there was no minimum at all? Is it to prevent average users from hoarding? Anyhow, that would likely cause staking-pools to emerge.

this will make you laugh,   total rental cost 0.048btc  return at suprnova  0.5 Eth.    Shocked
rentals over no contact from numerous emails and zero refund

oh by the way that 430 rig is already back open for rental if anyone wants it.

ouch ;\

and who ever said ETH  wouldn't see 0.1? you just paid that sadly roughly ;\
yes  lol was getting bored thought id give it a go as last time i though i got bugger all back.

DONT USE RIGS ONLINE  advertised at suprnova  this is a warning they dont 100 percent sync with nova (more like 10% if that) they have no support network the rigs go straight back online after rip off rental

OC MINER PLEASE take the rigs online off of your page. Your pointing people to a bad place and you lose respect for it.

what a good decent ETH optimised rig if i want to build one and get about 600MH working.... appreciate any recommendation.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

At 1500 ETH he should start penning his next post to "I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen." now.

I saw that title in a bitcoin thread. If you own 1500 bitcoin, and the price is $6.6 each as it reached a few days ago, you are rich.

I would say right now is a great time to buy. Im very happy the price came down a good bit the last day or so as I was thinking I wouldn't be able to get in. Last time I paid attention to ETH was months ago and the price was 20% of what it is now. This coin has a lot of owners, investment etc. The price will go up and down within its current range but it wont go back down to 20,000 which is when I should have bought them. But for weeks it just wouldn't move so I thought theres no life in the coin. Then last week I took a gander - you know the feeling.

Well. This coin just pumped hard and dumped hard.
Nobody could tell the real value right now. But to me this seem too pricey and someone is trying to keep it up to get out. Trex is looking really funny right now with small support moving up and down as soon as it get close to hit.

Yes its pricey but imho even coming in now and just holding the damn things will be worth it. Second highest market cap as well. Coins that go that high can be a risk of course, but the way some are carrying on in the thread you would think its all over. World cup end match, team lost, go home tears streaming. Not sure if its just me but sometimes it feels like the forum gets more hysterical by the week  Cheesy

Just a couple of months ago with BTC there were people saying its game over. Hero members to etc as they watched the price go from $500 right down to $180. Yeah it was a big pump going on but its came back up. I know for sure many people panic sold when the price got stupid low. The low low price lasted about an hour and half but the whales soon took their BTC.
HODL...at least until you really need to sell for some emergency. Im just kicking my self I never got in at 20k. Sitting there staring at them on BTRX...hmmm, hummmm, nah, and then i went off and bought something i can't even recall now.

Trawl through all my posts. I don't care much for the tech stuff. Most of its clones of clones. But I do know the tech in this coin is in a league of its own. Thats gotta be worth something.

1500 is a large amount. I wonder what the "interest rate" is ;-)

RWE is a big German energy company that's listed on the German Stock Exchange (DAX)
They took over several other energy companies like Essent.

Great news!

Using Mist should I be using Geth 1.3.3 (Go) or should I be using ETH 1.1.0 Develop (C++)?

Problem is when I have it set to Geth, Mist freezes at Searching for Peers when I launch it

The interest rate is not fixed. It is the new Ethereum generated every year. I think it is about 18 million new Ethereum every year.

But did you actually force it to sync? Only a few seconds off and it doesn't connect to peers.

There's been some heavy market speculation I think because of the uncertainty surrounding the possible Bitcoin hard fork. I think some smart investors are just hedging in case the Bitcoin price tumbles, and its caused a spike and subsequent collapse in the price of ether. Just my 2 cents. Personally though the price of ether today, tomorrow, next week, or even next year does not matter to me. Ethereum I believe has a great future but its got a long way to go before its ready for significant real world usage. I wouldn't pay much attention to the price of Ether right now, its going to have a lot of ups and downs.
