Crypsty won't release info on their nodes, I asked before.
Not sure... is it worth it? The wallet needs updating and unless there someone willing to do, not much point in a revival IMO...

I was just wondering because the problems we had were that it was actually a 10 minute blocktime and the difficulty was that hard because everyone left that we couldn't solve blocks for ages maybe 1 every 3-7days and we didn't have much hashpower going into it, now look how cheap rentals for SHA-256 are and the amount of power that is available now with new hardware we can bust through that next difficulty retarget which we never achieved & the difficulty will be low since it took 1 Year instead of 2 weeks to solve the blocks. It's just an idea, maybe someone can fine tune it to change the specs/features and then release the new wallets with nodes to everyone so it changes over. |

While Cryptsy's wallet doesn't show "offline", the test deposit I just tried isn't showing up so the wallet may not even be functional. If they're going to look into they're going to want some nodes as well as a block explorer. I've pushed through 6 blocks now at 1.4mill diff.

I hit two blocks on hasher.ca and now the wallet is showing insync. No problem but I just can not connect to the nodes. I can ping one of the two nodes you gave me but it does not sync. Edit: Never mind. The block chain is now download and is up to date. |

I hit two blocks on hasher.ca and now the wallet is showing insync. No problem but I just can not sync up. I can ping one of the two nodes you gave me but it does not sync. It doesn't fully sync until a recent block has been mined hence why it says last block was so many hours ago. The difficulty retarget is the same as bitcoins (2 weeks) but in saying that BEN hasn't had a difficulty retarget for almost a year so once those 2 weeks worth of blocks are solved the difficulty will lower dramatically. |
