WTF i cant believe that stats man, how can be that bad for Liverpool.

But in the other hand i understand you in your idea of pick Salah for the next week, its because you know this have to stop sometime and you want to catch that with perfect timing, but its really difficult to make.

It's not going to stop. Salah isn't the answer to everything. I know we'd like to think that, but he's been one of the players that have really slumped in this difficult period. He feeds of the team, when the team isn't performing he can struggle. Alright, he has gone us out of situations because of his goal scoring ability, but that's when we're doing okay, but not on our best day. He isn't going to carry this team, and no player would be able too.

There needs to be a serious overhaul, and I wouldn't be opposed to losing some of our long serving players. In their glory days they were great, and I'll always remember those days. I'm not going to be annoyed at them for declining that usually does come with time. However, I'm not liking some of the attitude I've witnessed in recent games. Walking back, and not even looking bothered.

This is some depressing reading regarding the state of LFC atm. At least Man Utd are losing tonight, mind you, the last laugh might be on us if they get Qatari owners whilst we’re stuck with broke ass FSG. I wish they’d sell up & get lost tbh.

While you all are busy discussing the fate of City, don't forget to make the pick for today's match between Utd and Leeds. I already made my decision. Not just decision I am trying my luck with it too.

Just so you know, Manchester united are currently trailing by a goal thanks to Wilfried Gnonto's first minute strike but am optimistic to see a united comeback looking at how well the are playing & applying pressure on Leeds.
Odds are currently priced over 2.5 for a Manchester win but I will be putting in my  wager after 10minutes of the start of the second half maybe catch the game at 3 odds.

These second half of the premier league games are starting to be more difficult to predict and standings of the SB pool hasn't changed much either

All this is a muddy story and we can only observe without really understanding what is happening (because some have always spit on laws, all sorts of FFPs, etc. and have not experienced any problems). My guess is that this is an attempt to curb clubs that have inflated spending to unrealistic levels that will never pay off as a normal business, without infusions from sheiks or other moneybags. What Chelsea is doing deserves a separate discussion, but probably "questions" will be voiced to them also soon.

I really don't understand what exactly all these charges are and it seems to be indirectly related to the leaks made in german papers a few years ago that led to their earlier fine and almost banned from UCL.

I cannot point fingers, my own club is guilty of all kinds of nonsense it made the club lose fans and those who stayed still feel sick today for what it did (let's say pigeon shit in our stands and in our food is how bad it got because money went everywhere except to the club).

For me, clubs are businesses so in a way owners can do whatever they want that's fine but they all want a room in the castle. So I agree FFP is about fairplay, owners don't live on their own in a castle, the castle has many royals and one cannot use the treasury for himself.

You probably don't understand that nobody cares about accounting tricks. Right. Although, at the moment it just doesn't get enforced enough. Unfortunately, I see it being enforced a lot less in the coming years, since we seem to be having more rich owners buy into the Premier League. I know we've had Man City, Liverpool, and United for a while now with decent sets of money. However, Liverpool never really competed with City or United in terms of finances. Now, we've got Newcastle who's basically got enough money to take the league by storm, and the only real limit for them, and City is the regulations, and they've been known to skirt around them too.

I don't like how football is changing, it used to be about the football, and the grass roots of it. So, basically any team could progress, and we have magic like Leicester winning the league for example. However, that's not going to be the case the more rich owners that come in, and spend a ton of money, which is what we're seeing in the last couple of years. I mean, Liverpool was up for sale for around 3-4 billion pounds. That's crazy, and who's going to be able to afford that or justify that, other than stinking rich, country sized companies or even countries themselves.

The likes of Fred and Sabitzer have not been up to par, they really need to put themselves in positions to receive the ball from the defenders and distribute it forward but am not seeing that. I hope to see a lot of changes in the second from this Manchester united team.

Yeah it was so quiet for Liverpool during the transfer window after Gakpo's departure. Though it's still better than Weghorst which I still have no idea why they sign him.

They had all the time in the world to go to 3-2 but no the curse of when we have only a single game in Premier League and a strong team is playing against a weak one is still with us,usually all the people bet on such team because everyone of us see this as a golden opportunity to make some money.The reality is once again that when such event is to be played they usually end in a draw or as in this case they even risked to completely lose the game.I am immediately reminded of the game not so long ago that ended 1-1 which was Crystal Palace vs Manchester United,again a draw.

who could have expected a draw between Man United and Leeds that haven't been performing well lately, for a while I believed Man United were going to lose that game, even after Marcus Rashford scored a goal to bring them within just 1 goal, I still didn't see them getting back on level terms, but every substitution that Erik Ten Haag made also impacted the game positively and almost won them the game, but it can't be said that Leeds didn't at least deserved the point earned.

To be fair, United deserved their point today. They played a lot better than Leeds and Rashford continued the streak with a really nice header.
Leeds should have defended way better in that situation though - it was a cheap goal to concede that completely turned the game around.

They will probably finish the season in a tough relegation battle, controlling such situations better in the future might be decisive in their fight to remain in the PL.

That is the beauty of the Premier League,there are no teams who cannot cause big surprises even to big names of this league.I agree with you that the changes the coach of Manchester United made changed the game positively for the team but what I want to say is that most probably this very same coach got it completely wrong the way he orchestrated the team when they started it.I think that this coach is not good enough for a team like Manchester United in the sense that this guy I am sure will not bring them very far in term of results.

Yeah no one guessed the draw result but somehow buwaytress almost won it by guessing win outcome for Leeds even though the bad performance Leeds showed in previous games. I dont think Leeds performance getting improved, it's just the Man United defense players who lost of their concentration. I still think Wan-Bissaka is much better than Dalot referring to all of the games after World Cup. Luckily he didn't leave in the transfer window.

pure statistics, it is hard to beat one team twice in few days, so United could win last night, and draw in Leeds on weekend, or do the opposite, draw last night and win during weekend, which brings better odds for betting

I do hate United, but that was just me aiming for a yellow cap. I'm so far down the ranks in this pool I'm no longer picking what I normally should. A bit idiotic as there's actually quite a lot to play for in Matchweeks but hey, I don't mind having a bit of fun.

Manchester midfield was a disaster yesterday defending the fast transition made by Leeds.

They really miss Casemiro, Sabitzer plays good considering its his first match but they lack somethings. Leeds still the same team like ever, a disaster in defense and a bold fast attack.

I was put a 3-0 for Man utd and was rapidly destroy by a goal in the first minute of the game. The only good think was nobody score a point.

Well I was not even in the mood to response after losing a $100 bet. After the second goal I did not even watch the match. Turned off the Tele. Kept myself busy with some other things and wanted to forget about it. Checked the result on the phone 10 minutes after the match ended. Did not expect anything so it did not hurt a lot too. 😏

To be honest, our attack isn't a problem right now; we've fixed it with some of the world's best young players; our main concern now is keeping Kante and Kovasic fit enough to partner with Enzo in the midfield. West Ham are not in good form right now, and this is another opportunity for Potter to show us why he deserves our patience. With 98% of the squads available for the game, there is no excuse for him not to get a three-pointer against West Ham.
