We all do, there are a lot of good ideas and ICO's out there but a lot are missing execution.
Anyway if an ICO succeeds now and the bulls come back, those ICO's will have a shitload of money to execute there ideas.

i fully agree i think it's the hope of us all that follow the project that succeeds and manages to create its own blockchain next year despite the adverse conditions of the market, once the tokens are listed we will see if the crypto world is interested in looking at the volumes exchange...

So the 1 year period starts on December 1st as well. It will be interesting to see how people react to the the vesting mechanism.

Remember DUSK has Second-by-Second (SbS) vesting. You can withdraw the percentage of tokens equal to the percentage of time passed between 1 December 2018 and 1 December 2019. If a quarter of a year has passed you can withdraw a quarter of your tokens and so on.

Yes, we are mainly looking for people who share the same longterm vision as we do. We have also removed any bonusses and implented a state of the art vesting system; Second-by-Second (SbS) vesting.

SbS works as follows;
We will deploy a smart contract which will vest allocations second by second. What this means in practice is that at any point a token investor wanted to release their tokens, they can make a call on the smart contract and then will have access to the total number of tokens that will have vested at that second.

As an example: after the lockup, tokens will be vested over 31,536,000 seconds (365 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes x 60 seconds). If they did it at exactly 6 months, they would receive half. If they did it at 1 day, then 10 days, then 57 days, and then every 3 weeks; they would receive the relevant whole tokens (rounded down) at each specific second.

Remember: that's the roadmap. Lots of delays can happen. Look at other projects. But yeah, if maintained, that's a very reasonable plan!

Good points in Ivan's video about proof-of-work being a dead end, just look at the Bitcoin Cash mining hash wars going on right now, and proof-of-stake not being confidential, pointing out the necessity of an alternative consensus algorithm for the future of crypto.

That said there have been a lot of coins with made-up novelty consensus algorithms like proof-of-love, as well as permissioned, centralized ones such as proof-of-authority. It remains to be seen how effective DUSK's take on this will turn out in practice.

Well, they already reached their soft cap and i don't see any reason they won't reach their hard cap either. They don't have a huge hard cap too. I wish i have that kind of money. I would definitely buy this. No bounty, no bonuses, only private sale and most important all, it is something needed.

I think they are capable when it comes to marketing that is why no bounties were offered and for bonuses it just show how desperate a project is when they offer huge discount and end up sinking there own token.

I can not disagree with you, mate.
DUSK team have made almost right decisions at the phase of this project. They have made great initiatives to help the project faster developed.

Having a good comunity manager who is active on forums and social media is a huge plus and Dusk is certainly lucky to have chosen a right guy for this task. We are getting really close to their Ethfinex sale and the lunch of their token.

How will you do the token swap, i mean how simple it will be? And since you have partnered with ethfinex, would it be too far fetched to think that they could do the swap by moving those tokens to bitfinex?
