I have a gtx1080, and the mutlipoolmner never seems to finish 'benchmarking' , i see red error text show up in the powershell in between algos, but can't make it out. how long should it take? i havent gotten to the part where I can actaully mine yet
if it takes more than 10min something is wrong

Check the logs in the log folder.  All powershell outputs are sent there so you can see what the error is that's repeating.

Its good now, thanks. Switched to this from nicehash miner.
How do I access settings (location, type, currency , donation etc..), this type of program is new to me.

Is it normal for 3 miners to be running at once? I always thought only one miner should be using my GPU at one time, but it seems right now there is a CPU miner (lyra2miner), and 2 GPU miners (ccminer, cgminer) running. I assume one is 'AMD' (AMD Re-order it says) and is doing nothing.
I also see this (linked below screenshot) at the bottom: is this how much $ I am estimated to make in a day?

Thanks for all your help in advanced, I appreciate it Smiley

This problem is only happening with ccminer and already known issue.

Can you please try with
--diff-multiplier 0.5
or
--diff-multiplier 2
option and tell me the result?

I don't have nvidia gpu to test currently and can't test now.
I don't have such problem, for example, on suprnova with same miner. I've used "D=xx" parameter to set constant stratum difficulty and after that on suprnova I've got correct share rate and suprnova's dashboard show my real hashrate ~1.1MH/s. But on miningpoolhub even with this parameter stratum difficulty jumps all time and shows worst share rate and hashboard shows 0.3-0.6 MH/s results
So, seems that this problem caused by pool.
Why your pool gives so worst share rate?? even suprnova with FEW TIMES lower hashrate 367 MH/s vs 14998 MH/s can distribute correct share rate, but your pool - not  Embarrassed
Please fix this problem. Other pools don't have such issue

-f, --diff-factor 0.5
http://imgur.com/l0oQN8G
-f, --diff-factor 1.5
http://imgur.com/3KIjprO

sharerate is nothing related to your profit because contribution/profit is not calculated by share count.
Each share has difficulty value, and pool aggregate those difficulty values to measure your contribution.

Actually those lower hashrate problems are mainly reported from ccminer. sgminer and cpuminer don't have such problem AFAIK.
I contacted ccminer dev, but he also couldn't give me the reason for it.

I currently lowered share insertion rate to minimize the difficulty change fluctuation you are suffering. I hope this change helps.

Thank you for the diff-factor test also.

when do you add Ubiq Huh since musicoin is added so fast i hope this one finaly get  added too
and i hate it to mine on a other site just for one coin

I'm watching their profitability for days. I'll prepare when their profitability is stable and high.

I actually like coins with unstable profitability.

Anyway, how do I monitor miner?

Coinontrop has PPS version. I wonder when you will have that.

I like unstable profitability as well but too unstable profitability may lead to unexpected results which would waste hashing power inefficiently.
Also I consider some server burden for running new coin pool. They need additional storage and wallet's own cpu time.
It's easier to open a pool but hard to close pool. So I want to open only well maintained coins.

Anyway, I'm still looking at uniq. I'll add them when it fits those conditions.

You can monitor miner at each coin's Worker page. Click the monitor button.

You mean coinotron?
I tried to check their system about how they combined several reward distribution rules, but can't load page now. Seems their website is under maintenance.

Hi I need some help

Got one rig with 2 Nvidia and Pro Duo(2x Furyx) Running windows 7 64bit and AMD driver 16.3.2

get the following error when i try to benchmark with sgminer for skein

Bin\AMD-GenesisMining\sgminer.exe --gpu-platform 1 --api-listen -k ethash -o stratum+ssl://europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:1 7020 -u Etherion.asabata -p x --gpu-threads 1 --worksize 192 --xintensity 1024

What can be the problem?

And now this

Bin\AMD-GenesisMining\sgminer.exe --gpu-platform 1 --api-listen-k equihash -o stratum+ssl://europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17023 -u Etherion.asabata -px --gpu-threads 2 --worksize 256

Bin\AMD-GenesisMining\sgminer.exe --gpu-platform 1 --api-listen -k skeincoin -o stratum+ssl://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17016 -u Etherion.asabata -p x --gpu-threads 2 --worksize 64

sgminer clearly don't run out the box with windows 7

I think you'd better check AMD driver settings and contact to genesis mining dev.

Here's some skein miner from miningpoolhub.
https://github.com/miningpoolhub/all-in-one-miner/releases

It's a bit out-dated, but will work for skein algo well.

Thank you. I will try that. I have contacted the dev on sgminer 5.5.5-gm. No luck yet.

Another problem is nsgminer.  I tried https://github.com/ghostlander/nsgminer

Any suggestion which miner would work on windows 10, AMD RX 480 system?

I can't get nsgminer.exe to work. Just shows a blank screen with blinking terminal cursor.

nsgminer.exe --api-listen -k neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17012 -u Etherion.ws10 -p x --gpu-threads 1 --worksize 64 --intensity 13 --thread-concurrency 64

I also tried stratum+ssl: but the dev said the miner does not support openssl.

Any suggestions which miner can work for NeoScrypt?

Maybe try this one too. It worked from my machine.
https://github.com/miningpoolhub/all-in-one-miner/releases

neoscrypt is quite sensitive algo. Some miners work but some not and it depends on system settings too.

If I look at dashboard for ethereum it goes here
Round Shares [Submitted shares since last found block (ie. round shares)]
Est. Shares    18,089,206 (done: 0%)
Your Valid    0.0000
Your Invalid    0.0000 (0.00%)

My valid and my invalid are always 0.

Also aaron, how do you mine your devfee?

The reason I ask is will you have to disconnect from current pool and mine and then disconnect again from miningpoolhub and then continue?

Or does claymore allow temporary change of username?

Also I got email from miningpoolhub that my rig is off. Great idea. I think I turned on something called monitor. I want to do it again. How do I? I forget.

Mostly, valid should be not zero if you are mining correctly. You hashrate is also zero?

I don't know much about multipoolminer, so I can't answer about multipoolminer.

You can turn on/off at each pool's worker page. not hub worker's page.

Really wished I did not have to hunt on which pool/coin my workers are active. You need a centralised page showing miner activity with monitoring. not on a coin level as it will send an email every time the rig is switched.

I agree. It is on my TODO list.
This needs db structure changes, so I need some time to test carefully.

+1 Been wanting that also, a dashboard that shows all in one, also more transparency on what is happening would be great.

Ive mined a couple times now and wanted to auto swap to monero, its seems like both times got nothing.   Ever since the the 2.5 multipool miner came out and the MPH went awol things have been goofy.

I have 2000 skein sitting, 70 feathercoin, 13 music coin all sitting where i cant do anything with .

On another note, it would be great if you could check keep or hold coins that you happen to mine but dont want to auto trade.  It seems like a UI that has a toggle to automine wouldnt be to hard IF true, just send to credited, if false send to credited for auto.

Being a novice miner of less than a year doesnt help me at all, the constant renaming and reconfiguring files is frustrating enough!  It never ends, and so much to learn on my own to improve things and of course always new coins and stress of chasing the dollar.

I will say though I feel you are giving us the best you can, and you are doing the best you can and also have struggles that are real!

What if we had our own forum where users could discuss tips and tricks to making this work.  Its a large enough project where it feels like it gets bottlenecked here.

I'm working on Auto exchange toggle button like feature. Actually this will have 0~100% slider so that some people would be able to leave some amounts to not exchange and some to exchange.
If you don't want to exchange you can just slide it down to 0%.

I understand your problems. It's quite stressful to manage many rigs, updating miners, configuring, changing coins.
I actually found myself little bit tired of working about mining these days. It's endless work, new coin, new algo coming out every weeks.
I'll consider about super easy mining environment too.

You may begin a new thread to discuss things. I'll make a link from miningpoolhub if you start.

I really like the automatic coin switching, I mine Ethash and use to manually switch to the various pools depending on the stats from whattomine.com prior to Mining Pool Hub.

I'm curious how is the normalized profits determine? Often whattomine.com's most profitable coin is different then the ethash coin being mined on Mining Pool Hub. I've often wonder if whattomine.com lags even when using the current profit and current difficulty setting.

In the image below both taken at the same time, whattomine say's MUSIC while MPH is mining EXP.

There's many factors about profitability and coin switching.

(1) pool swithces only when current coin's block is found

(2) pool applies overall past profit statistics for profitability calculation. This is to reflect real world profitability.
For example, Musicoin, Ethereum has short block time than Expanse and their network overheads are bigger than Expanse. Or PoW/PoS hybrid coins act differently too.
Those differences makes gap between profit calculation formula theory and reality. Past statistics makes this gap minimized.

(3) Coin switching has some internal condition to not switch too frequently. Too frequent switching may degrade mining efficiency.

a question
I mine eth, how can I know the% that I have to guaranty the recollection of up to 5 eth?

Yes my power is incredibly low 130mh/s
But would you have any way to see it?

Hi
I tried the multipoolminer
it runs different miners for bencmarks
Sgminer and nsgminer keep crashing.
They won't even start.
Any way to fix that?
I am running windows 10
Also any reason why they haven't included pascal lite?

Check in the logs directory for errors.  After that, you can try running the miners individually from the command line to see if something errors and work back from there.  Typicallly there are DLL that may be missing from your PC or your AV is blocking and remove some .exe's.

If the miners won't work on your computer, the multipoolminer scripts can't function, so you will need to solve those problems first.

it died on me too.

No pools and the site is offline. Probably somebody spilled beer in to the server.. I guess.

Do they have a phone number ?
