Really not sure about those ads either Got a buy n sell order there (Atomic Trade, since it's on previous page) 2 days now .. tumble weed, sadly. Tho the chat box seems to have a few folks chatting away, they seem to be there for the unknown coins not traded elsewhere. Seemed like a good fit for EMC but there were no orders there pretty much. EMC2 is holding nicely, great time to mine and stash a bit for when all this White Coin and various pumpy coins get hashed at a dump and Hashing returns to EMC2. They are propaganda finely crafted by me! Say hi in the chat, Ill send you a tip of our unknown coin not available elsewhere =)

So I opened my wallet a few minutes to find this message at the top: "Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."
My wallet is 'catching up' but has been processing block 69757 of 70016 for like ten minutes.
I already upgraded when we had to. This is what shows up when i getinfo
 { "version" : 80701, "protocolversion" : 70003, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 814413.63465592, "blocks" : 69757, "timeoffset" : -5, "connections" : 8, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 18.32253950, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1394165864, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00001000, "errors" : "Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! Any thoughts?

Yes, don't forget to vote every 12 hours and 5 votes per users. This online wallet is ideal for the science project winner. Gives them a place to keep their EMC2 and not worry about maintaining a wallet on their own. Plus, you can send EMC2 to other users using email address or username. Now that is ease of use. -tb-

You seem to be on a bad block chain. Delete and re download.

How did that happen, I thought I upgraded properly. I've also been sending and receiving coins without a problem.

I can only speak for myself, it usually happens to me when i force quit the client or if I run it under different permissions. I should note I'm using OS X. Redownloading the blockchain fixes it.

Just finished downloading it again after I deleted it. Then repalced the .dat file with my backed-up one. It seems to be good now, thanks

Always new developments going on behind the scenes. This is Easter weekend though so you can expect us to be quite over the next few days.

The community seems quiet, I agree, but the coin-team/dev-team are not. Non-profit is finally official, that probably took quite some work, but should allow making connections a lot easier. I guess there is a basic intro to EMC2 video about to be released soon too.

Today marks the anniversary of the passing of the great Albert Einstein.
Here is some information from Wikipedia:
On 17 April 1955, Albert Einstein experienced internal bleeding caused by the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, which had previously been reinforced surgically by Dr. Rudolph Nissen in 1948.[84] He took the draft of a speech he was preparing for a television appearance commemorating the State of Israel's seventh anniversary with him to the hospital, but he did not live long enough to complete it.[85]
Einstein refused surgery, saying: "I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share, it is time to go. I will do it elegantly." He died in Princeton Hospital early the next morning at the age of 76, having continued to work until near the end.
During the autopsy, the pathologist of Princeton Hospital, Thomas Stoltz Harvey, removed Einstein's brain for preservation without the permission of his family, in the hope that the neuroscience of the future would be able to discover what made Einstein so intelligent.[87] Einstein's remains were cremated and his ashes were scattered at an undisclosed location.
In his lecture at Einstein's memorial, nuclear physicist Robert Oppenheimer summarized his impression of him as a person: "He was almost wholly without sophistication and wholly without worldliness ... There was always with him a wonderful purity at once childlike and profoundly stubborn.
Albert Einstein did much more than his share for science, technology, and the human race. The Einsteinium Foundation hopes to continue his legacy of giving back to science and to the people who share his dreams of a brighter and bigger future.

Did not know that, interesting historical reference, thanks. I have a question: how much EMC2 was donated in the first epoch? And how much will donate in 2nd Epoch?

Block halving in less than 24 hours and we are extending Epoch 2 voting to April 21st (Monday). We're looking to give at least 50% more than the first Epoch to the next winner. The community is getting bigger and bigger. If we keep this up, we can see Einsteinium completely funding some seriously large projects very soon. To the moon? We can fund a project that builds a rocket ship! Vote while there's still time! http://einsteinium.org/nominations/Remember, 2% of Total Coins Mined + market value = Donation total amount.
