According to their Twitter feed, they have a lot of coins in Maintenance Mode and are working to unlock them all with the coin teams.  They have our new code available to them now which will reimburse them what they lost and all should be ok for them to proceed when they are ready.

We reset the daemon on the official Guncoin pool at Guncoinpool.com and it is back mining again - sorry for the inconvenience.  We still need to update the cover page and will do that shortly.

Our hard fork was successfully completed with no issues and the blockchain is running great with the new code.  Please make sure you have upgraded to V1.5.2 if you have not already done so as soon as possible.  We talked with Cryptopia this evening and they are again aware of the fork and our payback plan to get GUN going again on their exchange.  We hope to be running there again very soon.

Yes, me too.  It appears we have about 75% running the new wallets.  Would like to get the rest on board soon.  Cryptopia is auditing all our transaction there right now and when done will take us out of maintenance mode - hopefully soon.

Hmm, I have not seen that one and do own a MAC, so not sure, I will have to check.  But pretty sure, it should say 1.5.2 like the others.  Did you download it from the Github site or from where?

These irregularities with block confirmations and transactions time stamps are still being caused by the old clients on the network. We did a really hard fork , remember?   If you update your daemon to block traffic from the old clients (1.4, 1.5, 1.5.1, etc.), the problem will go away.  Eventually, the transactions will confirm without that and we hope eventually that the old clients will no longer be a factor on the network.  The more new clients we get going and old ones replace, the more stable the GUN network will be come.  There is nothing wrong with the blockchain.  No coins or transactions are lost or even misplaced, just delayed temporarily.

While there is nothing wrong with the blockchain for GUN, there is a lot of confusion after the hard fork relative to the old clients still on the network.  You can update your wallet to block out nodes running older clients, but that is not that easy to explain and may create more confusion.  So we think it best for us to take are of that for everyone.  So you can expect a GUN Core V1.5.3 release VERY soon.

Yes, GUN is again trading on Cryptopia.  And more good news we just release V1.5.3.  It will block access to old clients on the network.  If you can do this yourself, V1.5.2 should work just fine.  New code is available on Github - we will get the OP and website update in the next 48 hours.

We just made another update to the Official Guncoin Mining Pool at http://www.guncoinpool.com and all held payments are being processed and moving forward.  Something happened after the 1.5.3 daemon update and we got it fixed.  All is back to normal.
