I think stock trading is their biggest weapon right now even thou they seem to have a lot of stuff figured out even backed by some plan Bs.

I just hope that they won't have too many thing that they want to implement at once. Sometimes it is just better to focus on their key aspects and go step by step. I still don't see how their plans for casino games fit together with a hybrid exchange where I can trade fiat, crypto, stocks, & forex.

Casino games would attract a different user base. A user base which would be more casual and looking for entertainment rather than pro traders who look for small edges and efficiency.

There are very few pro traders in crypto Cheesy most are reckless gamblers. Or "degenerate gamblers" as bitmex' CEO Arthur Hayes calls them

Hello Smiley

So both Eidoo and Midas are great wallet, but no Smiley not even close.

Jarvis wallet can support fiat. It is capable of escrow so you can open collateral credit easily or trade on margin products. It allows access any Dapp (Ethereum, Neo, etc.). By connecting to the exchange, it can manage portfolio, buy/sell/exchange assets.

Lending will be done through partners app and dapp, so it will be the asset supported by them; at a later stage it is planned that we will do our own lending pool, but it is not our priority. We want to empower our partners; by connecting to Jarvis, partners can tell their users: if you like our app or dapp, use it inside Jarvis so you can be a click away from a fiat gateway, trading Fx or investing in an ICO.

What fiat you mean? This will be some stable coin tied to usd (like USDT, USDC etc.) or this wil be real usd, euro etc.?

Hello Smiley no real fiat, we do have a fiat gateway.

What you mean by "fiat gateway"? This will be stable coin (USDT,SDTC etc.) or what? Can you explaim as I cant understand  Huh

No I meant a fiat on/off ramp, so you can deposit your USD, EUR or GBP , and also withdraw them at an ATM or by wire.

Do you have a banking partner already?

And wrt the ATM, are you planning on making a deal with a card company or become a new TenX/Monaco/TokenCard yourself?

Oh, I understand. This fiat will be just for depositing and for withdraw money. But for trading you will have some stable coins, right?

What relation this project have to yours?

They are so many exchange project on the way why do you think your project would be the best  what make different you exchange from other ? very simple questions!

A good explanation is decribed here imho.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5062063.msg48492571#msg48492571

We will not Smiley

We will focus on only one thing at a time, and go carefully and slowly.

For the casino and poker etc. it is quite simple: Dapps allows you to do whatever you might wish; some of them replace derivatives products, some of them allow you to lend or borrow money, others allow you to buy collectible, or domain names, etc. and some of them allow you to bet, to play poker, or to gamble in a casino; if at the end of your day you feel you want to do some heads up with what you have won today, you should be able to do it directly into Jarvis; same goes for lottery, you create smart contract for lottery, players send their eth there, and the winner takes it all; all of this, seamlessly integrated into Jarvis.

And it does not need any additionnal work, just the wallet has to support the Dapp.

Hmm okay, I guess I start to understand. So eventually there will be different Dapps. For example for playing poker or other casino games. Will these Dapps all be developed by Jarvis or will Jarvis allow the implementation of Dapps from others?

We will not develop them; partners will, or, in the best case, independant developpers participating to our hackathon.

Sometimes, Jarvis vous develop some if relative to derivatives or trading bot, but that's all.

I understand. Coming back to the gambling DApps. Do you know if Jarvis has to get a gambling licence in order to be allowed to run them on their site? Because I can imagine that - in case you need one - you should already start to apply for one because it might take time to get one granted.

No, we will only provide p2p gambling / poker, and it is not us doing them, we just provide an access to it.

Not at the moment, I'd rather spend time on NFC from mobile phone rather than working on doing our card; however it is something we would like to have in the future.

So at the moment it will only be with partners.

It is really understandable now the integration with games, whether they themselves or from third parties, is an excellent integration into the portfolios. But even if in the initial plans, they are own platforms, this integration opens the possibility of some partnerships along the way. I'll be looking forward to it

I understood this integration paradigm which offers useful multi features will be the emerging trend among crypto projects to ensure its long term survival and I'm glad  Jarvis is doing just like that. Great job!

New projects have to offer something fresh and innovative to even be put on the map nowadays so different integration are welcomed in this compact market. Who know, next idea might be the new standard and will be copied by other exchanges.

Exact!

Differienciation, and innovation. Exchanges today are like smartphones... all the same...

I like that you want to innovate what exchanges should offer and this is exactly why you will have the opportunity to become successful.

He's right because there's no point to create the same type of exchange all over again, crypto needs innovations but above that needs to build proper infrastructures (exchanges, wallets, the very first things)

I understand. Coming back to the gambling DApps. Do you know if Jarvis has to get a gambling licence in order to be allowed to run them on their site? Because I can imagine that - in case you need one - you should already start to apply for one because it might take time to get one granted.

I am not familiar with gambling licenses, malta was probably always first choice but lately there were some problems because of blockages of casino player funds at the SATA bank.
I not really understand what exactly this license is necessary for, which must be requested separately in the individual countries.
For example, if I get a license in Malta, can I run a server or a bank account there to deposit and withdraw client money or what do I need that license for?

In Switzerland the license will be used to ensure that the company complies with the rules, standards, security, prevention against misspending etc....
And so a tax levied in Switzerland, for players residing in Switzerland where the casino makes profits. In order to also protect unfair competition against casinos based in Switzerland that pay full taxes.
i do not think that the wallet needs a license of its own, in case the dapps that proposes the games must have one, in case even the wallet jarvis should have it(the license) i think it should only be requested in the country where the company that develops the project is based...

From what Jarvis.Edge posted I understand that they won't need a licence because they are only offering P2P gambling and that they are only providing access to it and not doing them themselves. Aren't they kinda responsible for what will be offered on their site?

We have published an article

On the top of the most asked question, when I say we are building an exchange, is "why another exchange? what would be the difference?"...

We will not bother to create a copycat exchange... we do not wake everyday and work like never we have done before, to just propose "another exchange" or "another wallet".

Great to see you were able to sum it up. That is indeed the most popular question and for a reason. More i read about Jarvis more excited i am to see if you can really change the way exchanges will function and set new foundations for the future.
