Nope, cant get it to do this one thing. Ill get back to you sometime because after three hours on this software, on this one issue it becomes incredibly frustrating.
Another question : you're not a CAT customer, so are you using another account?

Your final scope is to generate volumes or buy/sell to yourself? If is buy/sell to yourself CAT is not done to perform such action. It's done to make you money not to loose money (and if you buy/sell to yourself you will loose money)
If you need to bought buy coins at 'a' fixed price (not from you) and without continue continuing to putting add new orders i wrote you in the last message how you can achieve that.
I know I will lose on trading fees but on the other hand I have increased volume from 1 BTC over a 24 hour period to 20 BTC and there by encouraging people to buy the stack of orders i have conveniently placed above the 5 million coins I just sold off to my self. It doesn't always work, but I am a trader and I will do and use whatever I can to increase my chances of profit. I currently do volume increasing manually but it is not an ideal solution. Perhaps you could consider some kind of feature like what Im suggesting that wouldn't require messing around with the Buy/Sell pool parameter page which in all honesty I don't understand. A simple buy X amount of coins at X price every X amount of seconds. This feature alone would sell 50 extra copies of the software. How about a very cut down version with that feature and a simple buy and sell profit system minus many of the parameters. Newbies would flock to buy . I use the software for basic unattended trading which its fine for. i wrote you in the last message how you can achieve that. I don't understand how to do it despite you're efforts to explain and my own tweaking every parameter. You probably think like a software programmer which is totally cool and natural because that is what you are. You have created incredibly complex software and under normal circumstances would require a team of people to translate the software instructions and GUI to something understood more easily by the masses who trade alt coins. Its not just me, I have read quite a lot of pages on your thread and can see there are others like me who have difficulty geling/grasping the software except for its mots basic purpose. You could build me a super cut down version of Cat (called Mouse) with those features I mention and I will licence it from you, promote it, sell it, and give you 25% of every sale made.

Well there's no need to correct my english error in the text you quote I'm sure you understand the concept, and usually i write faster while i'm thinking. English is not perfect but i'm sure i'm able to write understandable things :-) Question is simple : if you want to buy or sell to another user you can simply use the buy/sell pool. did you see this image in the Tips & Tricks C.A.T. Section?? Using (edit manually) the buy/sell pool you can put some coins in wait status and let CAT use them to create new orders. You can manipulate the buy/sell pool rules to use only some of that coins every lookup. For example, you can put 1 BTC inside pool, but tell cat to create only ping with qty < x (maybe in some markets, with a quantity limit of 100, using 1 BTC you can creat 50-150 Orders). And you can also tell cat to stop ping creation if 10 orders are active. (10 it's only an example, all of these parameters are customizable) Every pool lookup (that occurs every number of normal lookup, by default 5) CAT will get some available coins from the pool, and will create a new PING. If algorithm is static, order will be static at the price you choose, otherwise it will be a Dynamic order. So, i have no problem to remove the Limit price check, and allows you to buy/sell to yourself. BUT if you only want to continously sell/buy to OTHER users, you can use the pool. I think CAT it's not complex, really, but of course, there's needed to understand this schema.

For sure it's the buy/sell pool parameter section I am not grasping. If i can get to grips with that I will be fine. I do use the software for basic unattended trading and have made a little profit that way, so for sure your software definitely works and for people trading on multiple exchanges its great. I am more of dynamic trader. I have very little patience so tend to work one or two coins at the same time on one exchange and move on. So, i have no problem to remove the Limit price check, and allows you to buy/sell to yourself. That would be cool 'The Pump feature'

Not my intention Now about that very cut down version called 'Mouse'. Give it some thought. Ideas Only trades one coin at a time on one exchange Doesn't have markets data Everything one page etc

This is something that is happening only on your machine. Nobody have the same problem, yesterday i look for something for about 1 hours, and i haven't found any solution. Why don't you use a windows machine ? Wink
Otherwise, i need you to perform these tasks :
- Start 4.8 in a folder without other logs (so you'll be sure that all logs are from 4.8 and from that precise run). - Wait for this problem
A question : did you perform some XLM load file or some action before getting these errors? Or CAT start write error without any reason? This is what i wrote you. No reply from you. Your log have tons of the same error, it's always the same error, like an infinite loop. If you run for 1 hours, log will be X mega, if you run for 2 hours, log will be X*2 Mega. But error is always the same. There's no other customer having the same error, so i need info, but anytime i ask you for something you didn't reply, then you come back some days later posting the same error. Considering the fact that from my point of view, if an error occurs just for only 1 of my customers it's still a problem to consider and manage, i've removed that class that probably gives that error with another piece of code. So from 4.9 version your erros should not happens.

Hello,
Is C.A.T the best bot out here?
Thanks,
Well many dev usually have the addiction to assert things like "<BotName> is the most advanced....." "<BotName> is the best". I want to assert only what is true : - C.A.T. is one othe oldest bot in cryptocurrency world, released since 2013 with more than 70 version. - C.A.T. is probably the bot with more API available (actually 20) - C.A.T. is appreciate by a lot of people (check my feedbacks with more than 200 positive votes about C.A.T.) - C.A.T. is one of the market leader bot. - C.A.T. gives you a full configurable environment to let you create your strategies. It's the best bot? Maybe for someone answer is yes, maybe no. The kind of customer it's very important to determine if the bot fits for his needs

a death order happens when : - Order is no more on the exchange and no filler trades is found. it's an anomaly but it depends also by the remaining order Qty, for example some exchanges remove your order if remaining qty is very low (like 0.00000100) Where were you trading?
