Which casino or financial institution has accepted your residence permit as the citizenship verification? Residence permit can be considered as the proof of address, not the proof of citizenship. You have to provide a government ID to pass the verification, don't address the residence permit as an ID card. This is a shot in the dark, but I think that the team has been trying to charge your money back to your account for some time, but due to technical problems/restrictions this has not worked. The redeemable voucher was probably the workaround for this. However, this can probably only be confirmed by a BC.Game employee directly, as I said, this is just a guess on my part.

If you exchange FIAT to Crypto and then withdraw, you not only have to pay the exchange fee but also the respective network fees. Depending on the network (e.g. USDT to ETH), this can be quite expensive. What would you have wanted to do?

I am sure that every casino would love to serve as many people as possible, but when they are dealing with fiat and interacting with traditional financial services there are certain things they must comply with. It might not be the casino themselves that decides what is an acceptable form of ID, but rather the service provider they are using to handle KYC verification on their behalf.

That's exactly how it is. Unfortunately, however, most players do not understand this (or do not read the casino's terms and conditions, where such things are described in detail) and believe that KYC and co. are things that casinos do "just for fun".

In reality, KYC and, above all, the secure storage of data means an immense amount of work for the casino in question. So it's not something you do "just for fun". However, if you want to offer real money services such as a euro ramp, for example, then an enormous number of rules and regulations come into play here, including KYC requirements.

Moving on, your current situation is: the only ID you have is your residence permit and an expired passport, which BC can't accept. You don't have other govt. issued ID? Allow me to simplify this, what govt ID you currently have [that's not expired]? Supply me with this info and I'll try to reach my contact on BC to escalate your situation, see if they can accept any of those documents.

To clarify this, you asked for self-exclusion through live support? Not by applying yourself from their self-exclusion page? And that 24 hours "delay" was not the cool-down period? They're simply a delay, a gap of inaction, where you can still fully access your account and made bet?

I just created a new dummy account with a throwaway email (I wasn’t sure what effect the self-exclusion would have on my main account) and using the dummy account I opted for one-month self exclusion and I got an email from bcgame in less than a minute.

So I’m not sure why yours took up to 24 hours - but if you’re not convinced then I can opt for another self exclusion and this time record the whole event so as to prove that it didn’t take up to a minute before I got the mail.
