Regardless of the captain, if the team is not balanced, the outcome will be the same. As well, the Mumbai Indians released Krunal, Hardik, Boult, Chahar, and De Kock. It's amazing how changes in a team can go from success to failure.

They invested huge money on Ishan kishan for reason only MI management can tell. I don't think Rohit as a captain has performed well in international matches and this IPL is proving to be a nightmare for him. CSK is also on same track but they have won 2 games atleast.

CSK have managed to win the two matches after a hard fight. More memes were getting circulated about Ishan kishan being bought for much higher price.



In the last match against Lucknow Super Giants Ishan kishan is so unlucky to loss his wicket. In the next season's auction Mumbai Indians will look for the buying of players who have been left by the Mumbai Indians management.

There is no doubt both teams are on bad streak but in today match we have some amazing innings from Dhawan and Rajapaksa 110 runs partnership between these two give some very exciting target which helps PBKS to secure their fourth win from eight matches and handed 6th lost to CSK from 8 matches which is the worst for them, and now they are still 9th in league table which is showing how poor they are in this season even Rayudu play an amazing inning for them with over 200 strike rate but no other batsman able to give him some company even legendary Dhoni was also out very quickly with this result now most chances they are out of playoff race with MI and need to have some better changes in next season.

I actually think Kagiso Rabada was the key factor for Punjab Kings in that match because in his four overs he bowled really economically and his economy was less than 6 in a high-scoring match.

^ I have to say even though it looks like RCB did well after winning the toss, I think there were some soft dismissals from the Rajasthan Royals' point of view. It was not really amazing bowling instead I think it was not ideal batting from the Royals. Some moment of brilliance was on the field though, especially when Virat took the catch for the 7th wicket.

Anyway, after the first half, I thought RCB had a really good chance of winning but they failed in the second half.

I don't think BCCI will made decision based on IPL performance otherwise Rohit Sharma will definitely lose his spot as a captain. RCB are not in a bad position as they are still at number 5 slot. Apart from kohli RCB have talented players like  Faf du Plessis, Maxwell and Hazlewood that's y kohli performance doesn't matter much.
