Indeed it was an interesting match. I do agree that Josh Butler played brilliantly but you cannot ignore the fact that it was a batting wicket. The real game-changer for RR was Chahal, he took 5 wickets and you cannot ignore the fact that at one point KKR was controlling the match. If Chahal had not bowled this wonderful spell then the match would have been won by KKR.

Despite giving Rajasthan a huge target of 218 runs, Kolkata were on the verge of victory very easily due to the responsible batting of Finch and Iyer. But the batting of all the other players on the team was very weak. The team's run collection of 7 batsmen was below 10. And four batsmen returned to the dressing room with zero runs. With players like Cummins and Narine batting a little more responsibly, Kolkata could have easily won today.

As we have already seen till now, one-man armies are no longer effective and teams that are overdependent on one or two players have fared poorly so far in the IPL. The same goes for KKR as well. Shreyas Iyer and Aaron Finch took them to the brink of victory, but none of the other players offered any support for them. And once Shreyas got out, it was all over for the KKR. In particular, I am disturbed with the lack of form from Venkatesh Iyer. He's one of the most promising allrounders and considered by many as a good replacement for Hardik Pandya. And apart from one match, Pat Cummins has also not performed up to his calibre.

Not only Venkatesh Iyer but Ruturaj Gaikwad, Paddikal, Nitish Rana, Mayank Aggarwal etc are also struggling with the bat and similarly Varun Chakaravarthy etc struggling with the ball. Each one of em took IPL by surprise in previous seasons but losing their marbles so far. New local and uncapped talent is filling the gap in both department, which is exciting to watch.

Match up is kinda important in T-20 due to its nature. Pat Cummins is clean striker when playing against pace but he always struggle against spin, not just IPL but in international matches too.

Pitches in IPL are mostly batting tracks with little support for bowlers. But in T20 format, bowling is entirely on luck you can get wicket on even a bad bowl. The last game revolve around batting of Butler and bowling of Chahal.

I agree with you. Unnecessary reasons IPL management has extended the time of IPL. At least two matches could be held every day. I don't know why IPL management did it. The IPL will be held for about two months seasons this season. It will become very boring. There was a need to focus on this aspect of management.

So the result of today's match will depend on the performance of the bowlers. But personally, I like the Lucknow team. So I'm interested in betting on this team. What is your choice?

I agree with you’ll and I wasn’t happy when the schedule was announced, but I wonder if it’s been kept this way so player’s don’t get exhausted or was it covid fears that played a factor in this decision. Lastly I’m no longer watching full matches these days, and I might only watch full matches when the semis kick in so anyone else doing the same or you’ll are actually watching full matches daily?.

I think that the recent coronavirus situation might be a problem and also a cause for the Tournament to get prolonged. We all know IPL is a very important aspect of the whole cricketing world and I really think it is absolutely dumb for IPL to be played for that long.

Because obviously, that affects international cricket a lot. and if they are thinking that people are not watching two matches in a day for full and keeping one match a day is going to help I think they are making a mistake.

Change of captaincy having very good impact on RCB and now with today win they are second in league table with ten points from seven games which is amazing start but sadly their star Kohli is still not in good touch as he needs to be for his team in last few matches he is giving poor performance which is not good as he is already in good criticism for his tactics. Today RCB done very good batting and give very healthy total for chase, but sadly they completely fail to achieve this and face their third defeat of this season with this now they can lose their fourth spot and dropped to sixth or seven as now few teams are giving their best for having good spot.

Now, on Wednesday we have another very interesting match between Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings even both teams are struggling badly but here Punjab Kings needs win which give them some good jump into league table and good confidence for rest of this season.

!82 in IPL is not a big deal but T20 is all about luck and LSG were out of luck yesterday. I feel for Faf du Plessis as he missed his century by just 4 runs after all the hard work he has done. Apart from Faf du Plessis there is nothing noticeable among RCB batting also. I still feel that Faf du Plessis was sold at very cheap price of just 7 crore.

I knew the batsmen of Lucknow Super Giants were talented enough and they were in good form. They have proved their mettle in past matches. But their performance in yesterday's match was very disappointing. We have seen their weak batting from the beginning of the match. And I don't see any tendency to win this match in the whole match among the players of Lucknow.

Thank you for the information, i was planning to place a bet on this match and lucky that i found this update. So there is a possibility that the match would be cancelled or the entire tournament getting paused if the situation spreads to other team members as well. The tournament was getting interesting and i am waiting for the final announcement whether the match will proceed tonight or not.
