Even i feel like this season is being dragged for a long period of time with single matches per day and majority of the time there were no matches on Sunday which was strange. Usually during the start of the season there would be two matches daily and may be this is in accordance with the broadcast team that they need to drag the tournament this long.

If they are going with single match per day then 2 matches will he held on sat sun since its weekend and more people will be able to enjoy the matches. The downside of this long IPL is that there is less interest in the game while International cricket is also waiting for IPL to finish so that it can be start once again.

You cannot blame a single player for the team loss. KL Rahul took the right decision in changing the balling attack every time LSG needed a wicket. LSG was also quiet good on the fields if we compare the  fielding of both the sides. The biggest blow to Punjab was when Bairstow was caught by Pandya. After him there was no one left to bat till the end of the match.

Anything less than that will be disappointing for them, as they have 9 wickets in hand. Only thing is that they need to step up the scoring rate a bit. However, in the last match against Hyderabad, batting with a huge target of 196 runs, Gujarat Titan easily won. It is easy to assume that the batsmen of Gujarat are in very good form. And so if the bowlers of Bangalore perform like the previous matches then Gujarat will easily win today.

Gujarat won by 174 runs in 19.3 overs. This is their eighth win of the season. After losing the fourth wicket for 95 runs, it became a bit difficult for them to win the match. But Miller and Tewati's responsible batting helped Gujarat win easily. Miller scored 39 off 24 balls and Tewati scored 43 off 25 balls.

I think Mumbai is still going to lose today because they are not in good form at all. And they are playing against a team which is showing good performance in this tournament in my opinion. I really don't think this will be the match that is going to be the first win for Mumbai Indians  .
